Castle Oaks Golf Club
Played On 09/15/2023Beautiful course
Course is in great condition considering it’s the end of summer. Greens have some funky spots but overall good & Lightning fast. Staff is always courteous & helpful. Food & drinks in the clubhouse is delicious!
Creekside Golf Course
Played On 02/11/2018Great deal!
Fairways were a little rough but the greens were pristine! We walked so we did not encounter the problem with getting a cart. Pace of play was good; finished in 4 hours (walking). Good practice course!
Tracy Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/29/2017Must of been beautiful in it’s heyday
This course must of been amazing in it’s prime. The fairways are rough with huge patches of crabgrass and/or plain dirt. One of the water features is empty. Not sure if this is a result of the drought or maybe change in ownership/membership? The tee boxes and greens, however, are very nice! The staff and local members were incredibly pleasant and pace of play was great. The course has great potential to become great again and I look forward to seeing it improve; will definitely play here again if we find a good deal.
Apple Mountain Golf Resort

This course is stunning and very well-maintained! The staff is very friendly! Clubhouse serves a variety of beers and pub food that was tasty and inexpensive. They do not serve past lunch however. No beverage cart noted on the day we played. Not sure if their tee times are spaced wider apart or if we just didn't have anyone before or after us because it seems we were relatively alone on the course which was very nice! Finished in 4 hours despite working on our 15 year old's swing. The 16th hole states that the blue markers are mark a historical site; we saw the markers but never did figure out what the site was.... trees growing out a mound of rocks. Might have to call and ask.. LOL! All-in-all, a beautiful & challenging course that I would definitely come back and play!
Meadows at Sunriver Resort
Played On 05/30/2017Beautiful view of Mt. Bachelor
Nice course with beautiful fairways & greens. Pace of play was horrible! Lots of standing around & waiting for groups ahead. Marshall could helped out with the pace. Could of also been slow due to cart path only? You need to a code to enter the bathrooms; would of been great to know when we checked in rather than finding out at the 4th hole. I had to call the pro shop for the code and getting through their phone tree was fun... otherwise a good value.
Emerald Lakes Golf Course
Played On 05/27/2017Best greens in NoCal
This 9 hole municipal course is BEAUTIFUL! It has all the traditional hazards (water & sand) and is impeccably maintained. The greens are some of the best in NoCal (comparable to Yocha Dehe) and their sand bunkards have the softest & flufiest sand that I've ever played (which includes Poppy Hills)! I wish they sold more food and/or beer but otherwise this a great course to play.
Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course
Played On 09/06/2015Tight fairways
Got a GREAT deal through GolfNow ($20/player with cart). Started on the back nine due to slow play on the first hole. Played through at a good speed until we were on the 6th hole (our 15th) when we and three parties behind us bunched up watching the yahoos in front teeing off from the gold tees when they should have been playing the white or black. Course is in great condition. REALLY FAST greens. The fairways are really tight and you see lots of people playing their ball off your fairway. Also, lots of blind stretches so yell "FORE" when in doubt. 17th hole is AWESOME!
Thanks so much for the great review, ambenitez75. We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing Castle Oaks Golf Club.
