Course conditions were quite poor - apparently they skimped on the overseeding given the poor rye coverage. A lot of bad spots and dug up areas too.

Pace of play was slowwwww. Front 9 was painfully slow. The. Ran into a six-some on yokels on the back 9 and wasn’t able to finish as they were having a good ole time dancing on the greens and celebrating … golf, beer? Not entirely sure.

With no starter and no rangers, a bit of a free-for-all. $75 each with fees was shameful.

Used to play Tatum when it 1st open back in the 90’s. It was such a well kept pleasant track. Returned this week and was so disappointed to see the neglect. The course was overrun with crab grass, original tee signs faded and broken, empty unused water bins, neglected club house. It was 90+ degree with no drinking water available when the pro shop unexpectedly closed mid-round, around noon. The restaurant never opened on a holiday. No vending machines, water fountains, nothing.

Played the original 18 holes many times after the course 1st opened in the early 90’s. So happy to see the course has maintained its premier golfing experience. The course is still immaculate - great to see the maintenance team neatly patching sod both on and off the playing area; such great attention to detail. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Also the addition of the “new” 9 holes to allow half the course to rest through-out the month was brilliant! Thank you for your stewardship of this property!
