Honey Bee Golf Club
Played On 08/03/2018Overbooked Tee Time in a very wet condition
I have played this course every time I visit Virginia. The course obviously need a major drainage renovation!! As wet as it is, they took too many tee times around 8:00am. Out tee time was 7:59 and we have 2 groups of four some in front so us and 3 groups of 3 and four some behind us....SAD!!!

I did not play because the course was closed when I showed up. Golf Now should know and should not confirm nor charge if the course is CLOSED......PLEASE send me a credit to re-schedule my tee time or refund my fee, etc,

I played three days in a row, the course is in great conditions, and challenging. NICE!!!
The only complain that if have are the workers (mowers) they are so irritating and keeps following you and do not stop when I try to hit or putt the ball.

Staff at the restaurant needs social skills training. The man at the counter (bar) was very rude. Pro shop and cart staging area staff were very helpful and friendly. Probably want to replace that guy at he bar.
Sebastian Municipal Golf Course

Ranger needs to monitor slow play. There's no excuse playing more than 4 hours specially this time of the year. In the winter season it takes almost 5 hours to play due to slow play...I know this beacuse my friends and I play this course every week.
We apologize that the front nine was closed during your round. Due to the recent heavy rains our greens have been affected. If you would like to share more about your experience please call the course and ask for the GM. We hope you will give us another chance and come back to see us again.
