Abbey Course At St. Leo University, The
Played On 03/03/2018Rough
Rough course. Not much grass. Greens were the only real grass and they were very slow. It is what it is. Ok for $10.00, I guess.
The Groves Golf and Country Club
Played On 02/26/2016Nice but short
The course is an executive course-- very short, very tight, but in great shape. I personally like a regular par 71 0r 72. If you like a lot of par 3's with a couple of par 4's this is a nice but tight course.
Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club
Played On 01/29/2016Great round
Unlike a lot of Florida courses I have played this year, this course actually had substantial grass everywhere so the ball "sat up" for nice iron shots. I was playing as a single and was paired with another single and a father/son. The starter to did the pairing "on the fly" very astutely. We all had a fantastic time. The wildlife was great with the huge long legged birds putting on quite a show extremely close to us. The course was in great shape, greens nice, allowing a 20 handicapper (me) to shoot an 85, the best I have done in the last 80 rounds.
Lakeside Golf Course
Played On 01/27/2015Pretty good course
The course is good for daily play but you would probably go elsewhere if you wanted to treat yourself. Greens are a little slow but predictable. Course is pretty open except for a few tight ones and one that requires an exacting tee shot.
Royal Oaks Golf Club
Played On 01/26/2015Nice but slow
Nice course but pace of play was almost 5 hours. Not sure if it was the players ahead of us or just that the course doesn't lend itself to quicker play. We did a lot of waiting.
