Alhambra golf course is a fun, short course that requires good course management. Sometimes it is best to leave the driver in the bag and hit an iron off the tee. For mid-June, the fairways were in good shape but did have a few brown spots. The greens were in very good shape but were a bit slower than the courses that I usually play. This is not a negative, and I think the course is trying to let the grass grow a little longer as the summer heat will eventually take its toll. Alhambra is a great course for beginners.

I have played Alhambra golf course for many years, however I have not played there recently. Due to Covid, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the greens are in excellent shape, there are new golf carts, and there is a new golf ball dispensing machine at the range. Overall the course is in very good shape and I had enjoyable round.

In last summer, early autumn, the Alhambra golf course usually has burned-out fairways and the greens a a it "spotty." While some of the fairways did have a few brown patches, the course was is pretty good shape. The greens were nice as well. Alhambra golf course is a fun, short course that beginners and intermediate players will enjoy. Longer hitters, and more skilled players may not feel challenged, but the course is in good shape at the end of summer and should not be overlooked.
