Good Value, but slow today. 2::22 start finished at 6:40.

The condition of the golf course, especially the greens, was great and better than that of the other courses I've recently played in the Melbourne area. And the pace of play was also excellent making the outing an outstanding value.

Taking advantage of a GolfNow special price we played on a Sunday for $18 each. Was concerned that the course might be "burned out" due to the recent dryness but found it to be in much better shape than some of the other courses across the lagoon. We enjoyed the round a lot and will be back.

The course is very well laid out and offers plenty of challenge to golfers of any capability given the fact that there are five sets of tees. At this time (late Feb) the greens are very good to excellent and the course itself is also still in good condition although some areas are well on the way to drying out from the recent lack of rainfall. Overall, a very good value.

Most previous experiences on course have been very good. This time my GolfNow tee time for two at 1:45 resulted in a tee off delay of about 45 minutes and then a wait on every hole at the tee and then at least once per hole on the course. Result was 9 holes completed at about 4:30. My request for 9 hole rain checks (we wouldn't finish before dark) resulted in "you used Golfnow and we don't benefit from that, so talk to them". AND my prev confirmation via Golfnow two days earlier (315336241) didn't show in the course's system and the course said "don't know why Golfnow wouldl have booked it"- could only get off an hour late. GolfNow was very polite and accommodating and gave me promo codes to use at another time. BUT the course behaved as if GolfNow was a problem for them. If GolfNow is a problem for them and results in the golfers getting 2nd class treatment, then 1) I'll switch to other courses or, 2)I'll check out other golf discount opportunities.
