Woodbine at Mohawk Park Golf Course
Played On 03/10/2024So Disappointing
Played this course a lot pre-2000 and have a ton of memories. Yes, it's early March, but this course isn't worth playing until the fairways recover...many dead spots in the fairway. The city of Tulsa should be embarrassed by the conditions of our City owned courses. The amount of trash in the creeks, the conditions of the rough and fairways were rough. The bermuda greens were the slowest greens I've experience in 15 years. Hey Mayor, where are we on this? https://www.cityoftulsa.org/press-room/city-announces-renewed-commitment-to-municipal-golf-courses/
I won't be back until the City invests in golf.
Peoria Ridge
Played On 05/28/2017Love the course, not the water
This round was played on a Sunday and Miami received a bunch of rain on Friday so carts only today and the driving range was closed. I've played this course before where drainage was an issue and continues to be an issue. The course needs some serious drainage work. A lot of cart paths turn into small ponds.
I like the course layout and is my favorite of Blaine Pittman's designs. He also designed Battle Creek, my least favorite course in the Tulsa area and Bailey Ranch. In addition to the drainage issue, the food / beverage area needs improvement. I really don't get the attitude and it's been consistently poor the last 2 rounds.
Pryor Creek Municipal Golf Course
Played On 10/15/2016For the Price
I've always like the Pryor Course...played it quite often 20 years ago. It's not quite the course it used to be, but for the promotional rate, it's a bargain and worth the drive.
