Broadlands Golf Course
Played On 11/15/2019Always a good time
This is a great neighborhood course in Broomfield, CO. There is a men’s club which organizes fun tournaments for its members (anyone can join, currently over 80 members). The toughest holes for me are number two, eight and nine. Two is not worth going for the green (lay up short), eight has a narrow fairway with water on both sides and nine slopes towards water and is fairly long for a Par 4. The people in the clubhouse are the nicest you can find, and you see young kids play and practice all the time, a lively and lovely place. Played there over 100 times, and still love it.
Frisco Lakes Golf Club

I live in Dallas, and I played many courses in the DFW area, and this one is one of my favorites. It is quiet, relaxing with a beautiful layout. Lots of water, friendly staff, birds and not much noise (it is in a retirement community). There are birds and other wildlife, and this course is a true gem.
El Camaleon Mayakoba Golf Club
Played On 03/26/2019Fantastic experience, loved el Camaleon
I enjoyed playing three rounds of golf, one with my twelve year old daughter while staying at the Fairmount. The pace of play was good, and it was easy to book and change a tee time with the clubhouse staff. I used a caddie the first day, and this was a good choice as I got some good tips how to manage the quote penal rough. It is not the easiest course off the tea, and also seemed fairly long with errant shots finding the mangroeves or canals. What made the course special was that it had a laid back resort feel to it, and if you are looking to play a nature course, with abundant wildlife and lush green vegetation, it does not get much better. I look forward to come back again and get another chance of a good score..
