Slow pace of play and poor green conditions

Teed off at noon. Did not expect to have a fast round. Unfortunately my foursome was behind a terribly slow foursome. If it was not for this group we would have been done under 4 hours. My round took 4 hours and 45 mins. Which is still a fast round but. A ranger needs to be able see that this one group clearly was a issue. But the greens were riddled with ball marks that were not fixed. Especially 13 and 15

Excellent

Second time I’ve played this course this year. Great shape. Greens are firm and surprisingly fast. Fescue is cut real low so no issues every finding balls. Great time

Not the first time I’ve played here. Course layout and green complexes are very demanding. You must know where to place the ball in the fairway and know exactly where the pins are to score well here. Any putt over 30 feet seems like a guaranteed 3 putt because of the speeds and breaks you have to play. The course was not in its best shape as I usually see it. The greens were a bit chewed up, and with it being a shorter course the fairways were a mine field of divots that seem like they were filled that morning with sand. So some fairways seemed like sandboxes. This was a little frustrating after hitting good well placed tee shots an now I was hitting in sand/seed. But value wise $66 was a home run

Small but phenomenal

I booked the round not realizing it was a executive course. I was disappointed when I got there and found out. That was totally my fault. However the greens and and course were immaculate. Some of the best greens I have ever played on. Challenging pin placement on the par 3s made them fun and th 6 par 4s and 1 par 5 were excellent as well. The design of the course challenged you to place your first shots on the longer holes because of hazards and bunkers. That’s the type of golf I enjoy. As much as love gripping and ripping it. A well placed 4 iron leaving 100 in is just as fun.
