Played On 06/12/2022Course Is In Great Shape
We had a great time at this gem of a course located right in town. The fairways and greens were in great shape. We love the hilliness of this course and the abundance of majestic oaks throughout. The only reason it did not get a 5 star rating from me was because of pace of play.
P.S. They told us they were punching the greens on 6/13 so you may want to wait a few weeks to take advantage of this course.

Played On 01/30/2021Still Disappointing!
It had been a while so we took a chance & went out to Wildwood. "We just over seeded the tees and greens and the course is looking pretty" is what the lady in the pro shop said when we called in advance. Not so much! Another area course being held back b/c of poor mgt. It's $35 for 18 and the RV campground is built on top of the old driving range so hole #1 (old #10) is probably the ugliest opening hole in all of North FL golf. Out of carts at 1:30 on a Saturday. After the delay we teed off. It was a nice day but the course has seen better days. It's a shame,; it used to be a real gem and the greens were some of the best in the area.

We always enjoy playing a round at this in-town course. It's very hilly so be ready to play some challenging uphill and downhill lies. The course is in good condition and has lots of beautiful oaks to contend with. Greens are fairly easy to read and are only moderately challenging. We only book there when we can score an online deal otherwise we feel the price is just a bit too steep ($75).

Really hoping that whoever purchases the course really gets the fairways and bunkers back in shape. Many fairways have spots without grass and or weeds and many bunkers could really use some sand. I found myself in the bunkers frequently this day and was disappointed that I was hitting the very bottom of the trap; essentially just a thin layer of sand between my ball and hard earth. Fairways are mowed however they really should be void of bare patches and have no weed patches. Despite these issues the greens are still in good shape throughout the course. I would not recommend paying full price to play here though.

Wow! What a difference 3 months make. I played this course in January and was impressed with the condition of the course and the greens but the greens now clearly have not been punched in a very long time nor have they been rolled or cut. The grass is pretty long on the greens so putting was unbelievably slow and the holes have not been moved in many weeks. Holes were overgrown and one was actually worn out from wear. Our group had putts actually roll away from the hole because they were so hairy. How hard is it to move the holes once a week? Very disappointing.

The greens were the best I have ever seen them. Typically 2 or 3 greens are in mediocre condition (especially hole #4) but right now all greens are impeccable with no blemishes or problems. It's a very short drive from Tallahassee. If you haven't played there you need to. It's a fun course that has many elevation changes and some very challenging holes.

If you like to play rounds in 3.5 hours or less (for a twosome) than this course is not for you. This course is consistently slow. Whenever we play there the round is usually 4.5+ hours long and typically averages over 5 hours. We have tried several different tee times to beat the crowds but to no avail. There is never a marshal on the course to assess the pace of play and typically there are 2 to 3 groups on one hole. The management recently decided to make the back 9 the front and I believe this is contributing greatly to the slow play. The course is always in good shape but just be prepared for a long day of golf.

Be prepared for a very long round now that the newer management have decided to switch the back with the front. We've played there twice with the new format and both times pace of play has been much worse than before. Management says they changed it to improve pace of play & because this was the original design. What used to be the back is much more challenging so most golfers are having trouble right from the first tee into #2 & #3 which are even tougher holes. The old #1 was a much more forgiving starting hole which allowed most folks to get off to a fast start. It would also help tremendously if they put a starter at the first tee once again and had marshals on the course to assess pace of play. With the way it is now we may not play there much especially on the weekends. It just takes too long.

Played On 11/27/2015Worth the Trip
This course is a little bit of a drive from Orlando but well worth it. The grounds are pretty incredible. The clubhouse and subsequent facilities are modeled after an Italian village. The course is really pretty and the fairways and greens were consistently well maintained. The course plays a bit long for me but I was still able to manage quite a few GIRs and pars. Right now it is allowing the public to play at certain times but in the future this place will be a completely private club so play it now while you can.
We thank you for coming out to experience Bella Collina, and we are very happy to hear your thoroughly enjoyed the golf course! We hope to see you again soon!

This course is always a lot of fun. It has many rolling hills and some very elevated greens which can be a challenge. The course is always in good condition though they need to work on repairing the cart paths in some parts of the course.

Cross Creek Golf Club
Played On 4/4/2012Not worth the money
This is a 9-hole par 3 course. There is no maintenance to the greens and barely any to the rest of it. Some greens have not been attended in so long that they are domed and your ball can't even land on them; they just bounce and roll off. It would be a great place to hone your pin hunting skills if it was in shape. They do have the only covered driving range in town so it has that going for it.
Went back out on 6/2. Greens were in horrible condition. It looked as if someone had problems with the mower so many areas of greens were cut too low and the grass was brown/yellow in those areas. Also, once again the holes had not been moved in months. Someone please save this gem of a country course.
