Unfortunately, the course is in poor condition. Greens are good, fairways are bad.

Great weather, great location, good rate, needs some TLC. Pretty rough in many areas. Been like this for quite awhile.

An average course in average condition. Many dead areas but for the money it was a good deal. I would play it again. Greens are in good shape.

It's been about 3 years since I last played this course. Greens are pretty good. The rest of the course needs some work but it is very playable. It wasn't in the great condition that I remember from the past, but don't get me wrong, it's still a very good course and makes for an enjoyable round.

Fun course, nice layout. Teed off after 2:00 and the pace was great. Highly recommend it, and I'm hard to please...that's what my kids tell me...

Got a Hot deal on Golf Now. Well worth it. Went out as a single and another golfer joined me on the 7th hole. Course is in good shape. Greens were in good condition. It was very hot and humid and there was plenty of water available. Maybe about every 3rd hole.
I will definitely return.

My first time playing here. The fairways were dormant or dead due to the drought. Would have been a lot better if the fairways had more green grass but being from drought stricken California, I totally understand. Fairways are side by side so we had to contend with a lot of errant balls flying on our fairways...had a couple of close calls with golfers that never learned the word "fore". Greens were in good shape. It was an enjoyable day.

Not a lot of frills. Just basic, traditional, straight fairways type golf. In very good condition and enjoyed the day. I was paired up with a delightful retired gal. We had our own carts and we flew thru the course in 3 hours. Didn't mean to play so fast but there wasn't any trouble to get into. The most difficult part was the dirt bunkers. Not sand, fluffy dirt and I've never played out of that type of stuff before. It took some getting used to so I made a point to really try to avoid them. Got a great price on Golf Now. It's now off my bucket list but I would go back if the price was right.

Played Cattail course. Conditions were great and had a fun day! The course is a great layout. Plenty of landing area and the greens are in good shape. Was a little breezy but that kept the temperature comfortable. Friendly staff, terrific driving range, and lunch in the clubhouse was reasonable and first rate! Try the chorizo fundido appetizer!

It's now off my bucket list. Enjoyed the day. Really good condition. Under repair in just a few areas but nothing to be concerned about. Greens extremely slow and I was glad. If they were shaved down as I had expected, it would have been a bear! For $38 bucks it was a "hot deal".

Lots of work being done on this course but it did not interfere with our round. Had a good time. Greens are in great shape. Got a good deal on Golf Now otherwise I think it is a little pricey. Morning starter is a super nice guy! Very friendly and helpful!

Course is in really good condition. Fairly easy since I had an unusually low score. Good pace 4 1/4 hours.
Play it and have fun. Friendly staff. Good food in the clubhouse, too!

I've been meaning to make the long drive up to Makaha for many years. Got a good deal from Golf Now for 49 bucks so I did it. The course was in good shape, on par with Waikele, Hawaii Prince, etc. Played alone so I blew thru the front nine in 70 minutes then ran into some groups on the back. Did a replay in 2 hours and 10 minutes. 36 holes in 5 hours! Now that's the way to play golf!!! Anyway, back to the course....fun track, not too difficult, just stay out of the trees.
PS. the cart paths have huge potholes (much like the streets in the mid-west after winter) and tree roots lifting them up. Do not drive on them. Your spine will appreciate it, your drinks will stay in your cup, and your clubs will have a better chance of staying on your cart.

Always enjoyable and we moved at a good pace. Finished in 4 hours.

I've played this course twice in the last 3 weeks. Great condition, challenging and a lot of fun.

Used to really enjoy this course but in the last few months it's condition has eroded. Played it in April and it was in good shape. In Sept it was awful. Dirt fairways, untrimmed rough (first cut), you get the idea...They will have to put some $ and effort into it to get it back into shape. Until then, I'll go elsewhere.
