The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club
Played On 01/27/2020As expected in January
It’s end of January and was 45 degrees. I don’t expect courses to be lush and green. I like to go out and work on my game and this was sufficient. Played with a buddy and we played in 3 hours. We had the course to ourselves until hole 15 when we played through a foursome and then finished the last few holes without seeing a single golfer. $22 for 18 holes with a cart in three hours on a wet cart path only day in January and 45 degrees....not too much to complain about. The greens were smooth and putted true so would I come back and play again, yeah probably in the next two weeks. Its one of the best values/bang for the buck in the area.
The Neuse Golf Club
Played On 10/25/2019Greens were exceptional!!
For $25 you won’t find a better course in the area. I thought the conditions of the course were great. The boxes were lush as were the fairways. The greens were smooth and true and very quick. The bunkers could have used a but more sand. I felt they were a smidge firm but they had enough sand where if you hit it like you should you would get out. Thats the only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars. 1/2 star deduction for bunkers and 1/2 star for the amount of ant hills scatter all over. Fortunately none on the greens. I would definitely come back!!
Tot Hill Farm Golf Club
Played On 2/15/2013What a steal!!
Tot hill farm has always been a fun option away from the raleigh/durham area. Its a little farther a drive than most being in asheboro but its not terribly hard to get there right off 64. We played 2 days after a good rain and the course drained pretty well. Think it was cart path only on 3 holes. There are plenty of birdie opportunities and i like that theres strategy involved. You don't have to hit driver every hole but for the most part the landing areas are pretty generous so bombs away. Its a little more generous than sister course tobacco road. $17 on a friday afternoon was better than anything in raleigh/durham you could find for the same price. Definitely worth the trip. Much better value than most in the triangle.
Mill Creek Golf Club
Played On 10/26/2012Super friendly staff and great value
Played on a chilly day but the weather held out and we didn't get wet. Staff was really friendly and we as a twosome were able to play theough two groups and finished well under 4 hours. Will definitely play again!!
Great! We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing The Neuse Golf Club.
