Pace of play was slow all day. The marshal thought it would make our group feel better by telling us which group was out of position, yeah we already knew that. He then left us to go tell other groups the same story however, it was a lie!! The group in front of us had 1-1.5 holes open in front of them all day. Why was the marshal not staying with that group, he should have stayed in their sight until they were back on track. The /Nd time we saw the marshal, he told us that everyone had made up the gaps, I told him that was a lie because there was still a full hole open, he drove off. The last time we saw him (on 16) he stopped to talk to us about college football and baseball playoffs, no one in the group would respond to his questions. I missed my chance to tell him that I would start “playing through” when we hit the 4 hour mark. That would have been on 17. The group in front of us took 22 mins to play 18, brutal.

Also, there “greens” were like putting on the fairway. What happened?!?!

Started on the back 9 and we were the first group off. We took our time but still managed less than 2 hours. However, when we turned to the front, there were two groups on #1. We watched every shot of the group in front of us for the next 2.5 hours. Painful to say the least.

Fairways are super narrow. Playing from the back tees at just over 6900 yds did not help them to be any wider. Many of the holes have dog legs with several sharp ones. This made the distance off the tee just as important as into the greens. Overhanging trees made for the fairways to seem even more narrow and the dog legs that much more tricky. This was my second time playing it, another two or three would help for the tricky tee shots.

Positives:
1: Pretty good layout only a few Mickey Mouse shots to hit.
2: New management company seems positive about the future and was friendly

Negatives:
1: No one has watered the course in about two years. Hard as a rock and little grass, even the greens.

3: "new owners" took over about a month ago "and are ready to get it back in shape" yet no one was doing ANY work on the course?!?!?!?

I played this course several years ago and loved every hole. Have to play conservative off of the tee but birdies are out there. However this year was much different. They have lost EVERY green. Some greens had more sand than grass. We decided to play two putt max after we all missed 10 footers by more than 3 ft due to bouncing. The staff was quick to tell us that this was a $90 facility normally but due to the greens, they are offering lower rates. Personally, anything over $25 is too much with the greens the way they are. They might, MIGHT be ready for the 2016 year. Otherwise, bargain them down and play two putt max.

Early spring time in Fla means the grass should be cut more than once a week. Played on a Sunday afternoon, looks like fairways and tees had not been mown in over a week. Greens were less than good in looks but had no trouble putting.
