Greens are great for putting.

I played with my sons and a friend. Before we left for our round, I ordered a special, a cheeseburger. it could have been one of the best I have eaten. The course has wide fairways and the greens are very good to putt on. I should know because I had some very long putts. I enjoyed the par threes, especially the island green. Try not to get into the sand bunkers because they have too many rocks and it is difficult to "explode" out of them. We enjoyed our round.

Long Putts

The course was in pretty good shape. The price was very good. If you didn't hit to the pin, you can end up with some long , long putts. the fairways were very green and easy to hit off of with any club. Also, for some reason coyotes like to roam this course. I also found the staff very accommodating.

Rocky round

I had played this course before and it was pretty good for the money. Not this time. The greens were fine, but from tee to green most every fairways were dead up the middle. Why? I don't know. It led to a lot of placing the ball. They had been plugged and fertilized, but it was going to take a lot of time to get them back to original shape. Also, who makes a desert of sharp rocks. I did not go out there often, but I never used a club in it because you would scar your club. At least the price was right, $10.

Nice greens for putting.

I have golfed this course many times. I once got a hole-in-one here. It is a pretty wide open, flat and fair course. I find the par 5's true birdie holes and the par 3's "testers." Just a hint, the 18th is tough as sunset approaches because you are going directly into the sun. If you don't hear a splash, it is somewhere on land though!

The elevation changes and the views were spectacular.

The Dinosaur course was the best course i have played down here in the Valley. For a course in the summer the grass was everywhere green. The greens were true to putt on and several were double tiered, some were small and some were large. You will enjoy this course.

The par 3's were a test for different clubs off the tee.

The course was well maintained for the hot weather in Arizona. The last few holes were picture postcard holes, especially hole 18. The greens putted very true, although my putter didn't! I will play this course again.

The course was not as I remembered it. The course had construction areas and painted fairways.

Each fairway was painted a light green over the Bermuda grass(?). The sand traps were devoid of sand. You had a difficult time hitting out properly. Areas had been dug out and were just dirt. The views are very nice of South Mountain and Phoenix. The day we played was very slow and there was no marshall to speed up play.

This course has some large sand bunkers and tricky water holes.

I found this course to be well maintained in the fairways and the greens putted very true. It is almost impossible to lose a ball unless you hit into someone's back yard or the water, both of which take some effort. The large sand bunkers are this course's signature as well as the beautiful swans at several water holes. I very much enjoyed this course.

This course is well maintained and fun to play.

The sand bunkers are well raked. I practiced several times in getting out of them! The fairways and greens are well taken care of and the roughs allow errant shots to be reasonably played. Water comes into play on some interesting holes. You will enjoy playing this course.

Wide open course. Some long par threes, even from the white tees.

Most of the greens are true and putt well. They do put a lot of water on the course so it was wet and mushy in spots. I enjoyed my round.

The fairways and greens were in great shape.

I really enjoyed the course. The fairways were not too tight. There are some nice par threes. Too many geese, though.
