Course was in average shape that probably couldn’t be helped because of lots of rain. My only real complaint is that the course was filled with fivesomes. There were at least 2 marshals but apparently this is the norm for this course. I’m not in favor of any course allowing more than foursomes, it’s not a good look to attract new play. Good old boys taking forever to putt and their Marshall friends just watched.

Beautiful course. Nicely maintained, greens are a bit slow but in great shape. One group was slowing up the whole course, took 5 hours to play. Pro shop attendant not very friendly or accommodating, cart guys and John the marshal were very nice. Off the beaten path, nothing really close, but worth the drive if you're not in a hurry.

Always loved the layout of Marcus point. The course was in the worse shape I've seen it. There were 2 temporary greens, but could've been 18. Don't know if it was fungus, bugs, or what but all the greens were at least half bare or dead. Not a good time to play with the shape they were in. I realize that this can't be helped at times, but the front side apparently had not been mowed in a few days. Some holes the rough was over 6 inches in places and a few holes there was no definition between the rough and fairway...and we haven't had a wet spell, so it wasn't for it being too wet to mow. Hoping the course gets some needed care.

Course in very good shape. The new superintendent has got it in as good of condition as ever.

The course experience was not too bad, I've played this course many times. The one frustrating thing was when my group got to the back, the course pro was playing a 5some with his buddies and backing up the whole course. The pro should know better, if he wants people to return this shouldn't happen. On the 16th tee box 4 groups were backed up waiting on this one group. We all were not happy!!! Not good....Municipal course, so maybe he doesn't care if anyone returns. City job.
