Port Townsend Golf Club
Played On 04/26/2018Good for the money
The first time on this course is a little confusing. Once you understand that it's a nine hole course with 18 tee boxes, it is more understandable. Therefore, there are 18 tee boxes signs with different yardages. You run across these signs for the back nine while playing the front 9.
I would have preferred the fairways mowed a little more closely, and those prolific little white daisies, while not unique to this course, make locating your ball a real challenge.
It's a nice local course and I'll be back. Excellent value.

I love this course. I've never had to wait. Pace is always good. Staff is super friendly. It was a little soggy in the low spots ( 8 & 12), but it's been raining for the last week, so it was expected. Best value for the money.

This is a challenging course in that you have to be pretty precise in getting the ball on the fairway with your first shot. I call it 'target golf'. I lost several balls but found several more while looking for mine. If you choose to go searching through the rough just remember, they don't make any desert plant that doesn't have thorns.
We had a great time as we followed a tournament and were one of the few groups playing that afternoon.

It was a little wet in places but it had recently rained so that was to be expected. Beautiful fairways, well kept greens, a good mix of wide fairways and challenging doglegs. Watch for specials to get the best value
