Look if you can swing a round at PGA or Myakoba, play there. But if you have no other alternative but Hard Rock, play it. Course is really tight and has crazy dog legs, but was is great shape. Some tee boxes are slopped far too much, but 90 percent were good. Greens are TINY but are in great shape. On to some stuff I can't get over... tee time was 745 showed up at 7am. Club house was still closed. No driving range until 8am, which is terrible. The golf carts are tragic. There is one restroom, which the club house didn't tell me you need to use the golf cart key to get into. The starter decided too send off 4 groups of 2 instead of 2 foursomes which grounded play to screening stop. Drink cart made frequent stops which was great. Seriously, for 135 bucks, play somewhere else or just don't play, it's not worth it.

Like many reviews, it's a TIGHT course with TINY greens. For 30 bucks more should have played PGA though. Got to the course 45 min before my start and the range wasn't open, not ideal coming off a plane flight the night before. The starter decided to send 4 twosomes out instead of groups of 4, which actually slowed the round to a hault. Some tee boxes are really slopped but in great shape. The golf carts are antiques. The drinks cart makes frequent stops. The pro shop is tragic. Honestly if it's the ONLY place you can get on, I guess go ahead and play, but I'd try and play anywhere else before going here.

Took 2:55 minutes to play 9 holes. Had to leave after 9, didn't need a 7 hour round. The pace of play was the worst I've seen in YEARS!!! Not only that, the course was simply TRAGIC. The "greens" are just dirt they painted green. The fact they charge 115 per player is nothing short of criminal. The ownership and staff could have EASILY warned us. The outside staff was friendly, and the layout (the front 9) was a good layout, but this does not make up for all the bad. Would love to upload the pics I took, but they're all JPG. Again, save your money, play somewhere else.

I've played both courses and prefer Redbud. Played from the blues, and it can be long especially with the wind blowing. Would DEF play it again.

Great layout. Has a bit of everything, and it's in great shape. I guess my only "knock" would be the mandatory doubling up on the carts. I get it, just wish you could solo if you wanted.

It should be CRIMINAL to charge what they do for a round at that goat track. The course is in TERRIBLE shape. The greens are no where near what anyone would call acceptable, with half grass half weeds, and the fairways seems like they haven't seen a drop of water in months. Look, I get it. The course needs to be open to make money in order to pay for maintenance, BUT no way on God's green earth is this course worth 70 + dollars to play. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE STOCK PICS!!!! Save your money and play elsewhere.

There's no way on God's green earth ANYONE should pay 70 plus bucks to play this course! The greens are HORRIFIC! Edward James Olmos has a less bumps than the greens. Half the tee box's are trash, and the fairways don't feel like they've seen water this year. It's almost criminal to charge people the full rate for this place right now. Don't belive me, go look at the practice putting green. The only bunker to have sand in it, is on the 18th. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

100 percent the best bang for your buck course in Solano County. The course is ALWAYS in great shape. If for some reason there is a trouble spot on the course the grounds crew mark it off right away. The course is fun, the layout is great, there's no quirky or gimmicky holes. HOWEVER... this course has TEETH. You need to be in the right spot or you will be taking your medicine. You can play from the whites one day and play from the tipps on the replay and get a completely different experience. I am not exaggerating when I say Paradise has the hardest Par 3's around

They have a top notch driving range, a fantastic putting green (that actually matches on course conditions), a chipping area with a bunker. The ONLY knock on the practice facility is the chipping green is astroturf. Chris and Sam are the heart and soul of the place.

The sister course, Rancho Solano, is fantastic as well but, Paradise is woefully underrated.

Tee boxes were a mess.

Greens were punched not too long ago, multiple types of grass on greens causing terrible rolls.

Fairways were a swamp, over watered.

They tout the course was on roto for the LPGA, AND it is an Arnold Palmer design, but, as it stands, it's a complete mess.

Hopefully Troon's money and management will make this cool layout actually playable.

Troon knows how to make golf great! First time playing there and was not disappointed. Fantastic course in great shape with great ammonites. Golf carts are beyond comfortable with accurate gps. Wasn't exactly cheap but it could have been a lot more. Can't wait to play there again.

Where to start? Booked a tee time for 6:06 on a Saturday. Showed up early and hit the range. Checking in, was not greeted. I noticed my booking did not come with a cart, no big deal, went to add that and it was an extra $17 bucks! Fine. Paid for it asked where is the first tee, dude pointed out back to the cart barn. Checked into the barn and ask the guy where the starter was. He tells me he hasn't shown up yet. I said ok, when do I tee off and with who? He goes just go whenever!! So now I'm told to head out on a dark tee box, no one to regulate which order, just normal course stuff on a Saturday that happens EVERYWHERE except here.
As I'm about to tee off cart barn guy yells to me I should play the OTHER course. The good side, that there is single waiting for me on the tee box. I said great, I had to pay another up charge so now my $35 round is $67 bucks.
Get to the first tee, no one in sight, no single, no starter, no employee. So I tee off, still too dark to really see anything too deep. I hit two shots and lost both in the fairway! Why? Because the course was flooded, as in a swamp. Not to mention the first fairway is COVERED in range balls.
I hit a drop to just keep going. End up in a green side "bunker" which is under water, and is pure mud. No big deal, pick and clean. My round continues, had to clean so much goose and turkey droppings on the greens that some greens looked like they were punched!
And here is the coup d'etat, I'm on the 10th tee box and THEY START A SHOT GUN BEST BALL TOURNEY!!!! Literally had an employee drive up with tournament golfers and place them right behind me, and on the next tee box. Now I'm RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of a tournament as a single.
I think I'm about to finish the 11th hole when an employee drives up and tells me they were going to give me a rain check for 9 holes! I couldn't believe it, told him to keep it. He was a nice guy and after I told him what a TERRIBLE experience has been. He tells me he'll give me a full refund. I said fine, head back to club house, same guy working, never said a word, not sorry, not my bad, nothing.
With so many quality courses up here, this is off my list.
Will NEVER play there again.

Hands down the nicest course I have ever played!!! Extremely friendly staff, amazing practice facility and the overall grounds are INSANE!!!
The course was in perfect condition. From tee to green, absolutely perfect. Pace of play was fantastic, sand traps were impeccable.
Fees were understated for what the course should of cost.
Cant wait to play this course again. Would gladly travel to AZ just to play this course again.
