Did not finish a round that started at 3 pm Due to darkness. 3-1/2 hours for 9 holes. 15 minute wait on every tee box. Felt like I was ripped off. Tried to get a rain check or half my greens fees back after the first 9 holes but was told the manager was gone for the day and no one else can do that. Plus. Not a ranger in site the whole day to push things along. Best entertainment of the day was sitting 4 groups deep on the third tee and watching the 5th group on the second green get hit into By the 6th and a near fistfight ensuing. Miserable experience

Five stars. First time I’ve ever played it after years of hearing how good it is. Set up is challenging but very fair. Fairways are pretty generous. Lots of bunkers but I felt that 70% of them help save your errant shots rather than being penalizing. Greens run fast and true. Tee boxes are flat and well maintained, not a mine field of divets. Landscaping and maintenance details galore make the round a joy.

I liked the course. Lots of elevation changes. Would be a workout to walk this course. Par 3’s all have elevated tees to medium sized greens protected by bunkers. I like this type of par 3 layout. Not too much water or wetlands to deal without here. Lots of room off the tees except for one or two holes. Front 9 greens are fairly flat and predictable but the back 9 greens have considerable slopes and undulations. If your in the wrong part of the green on the back it will cost you strokes.

Found the course set up to be fair yet challenging. Roughs are playable. Sand traps could have used some dressing. Greens were surprisingly fast and true for as much rain we have had this spring.
