Nice layout, greens good but very slow, fairways fair but below average, tee boxes poor. Value was very good. Amentities poor. Staff was kind and tried hard.

Course is in pitiful shape. Everything looks broken! Looks in dismay! Needs a fusion of capital to make it. Very disappointed with the condition of the course.. even the car paths were in horrible condition. The golfing clientele looked like desperate golfers trying to find a good deal.. basically, I saw was a lot of 30 handicappers.

I used Golf Now and paid $70; When I checked in they said if you had booked through us then it would be $43. Course was in rough condition but liked the layout.

A good bargain but a lot of hacks thought the same thing. Very boring and every hole seems the same. I did like the bent greens, as most of these Florida greens are bermuda. Great course for a beginner to intermediate golfer. .

Good course to hone your golf skill if a beginner to intermediate golfer. Otherwise, stay away as I have never seen so many hackers on a golf course.

If you are not a snob I don’t mind being surrrounded by a lower price housing complex then this venue is a must play. Well conditioned and great fair greens. A very good William Bell design. You have to hit a very poor shot to lose a ball on this venue. Every hole moves well and great pace. I have come to the desert for five years and this and Eagle Falls are my two go to courses. This course is many times better than Escena.

I have been coming to La Quinta for 6 years. This without a doubt is one of my favorites. Hate the over rated PGA West courses. This course is so much fun to play and the movement/flow of the course is spectacular. Yes, flanked by Cheap housing but greens and fairways in excellent condition. I would play this course every day. It is the Gem of the Valley!

This course has been redesigned and is so much more fun than the Resort/PGA west Courses. Very forgiving course but still some good water holes. Greens were in excellent condition; Fairways were so so but fine. Some good long par 5’s and good landing area for drives. Great place to go to get out of the wind.

This is Pete Dye at his worse! Good value to get some holes in but horrible layout. Too many people thinking they are getting a bargain and quality of players is horrible. These folks belong on a cheap muni.

One of the worse designed golf courses I have ever played. I am a 6 handicap and at my best could not ever break 80 on this venue. If you took the best designed Jim Engh golf course then this one would be 10 times worse. Elevation changes fine but never any relief and penalized for any shot that is not perfect. Don’t play this course! What a horrible experience.

Terrible design and greens are too small and too tough for this type of venue. Great value for a roller coaster ride! Any tee times after 1 beware of quality of playing partners. One I had a wife of a player who couldn’t break 200. Another day the grandfather is walking the course and playing from the tips with grandsons.
