broken promises

After the Tom Fazio redesign (rebuild) we home owners were required to pay $100 month to support the course. When this started, homeowners were allowed to play for $40 including cart. Now it is a 25% discount. Non resident rates are $145 on average, leaving the resident a fee of $107.50 for people who paid $200K for a home, pay $700 a month in homeowner dues, thinking when they purchased their home in 2002, that living on a fixed income was going to be a great value. Granted the Ted Robinson course was quickly reduced to a easy course with the advent of ProV1 and flex face woods, and the new course address those adjustments, it bothers me that the course fee has nearly tripled when the selling point of the new developer was Borrego Springs rates, not San Diego or Palm Springs rates. I've not even bothered to fly down in three years, and this year is in question with the airlines collapsing left and right, leaving the available seats at double of 2018 - 2019, plus ignorant rude abusive passengers on many flights, it doesn't encourage me to bother to go through the trouble of fighting to get on a flight, and pay Palm Springs rates, which why we chose to buy a home here in the first place.
