Waterlefe Golf & River Club
Played On 09/19/2014What a Neighborhood!
These houses and the scenery is well worth the time! I played in the drizzle (with no flood issues), lost a lot of balls, and despised my score, but stayed the entire 18 holes! And the fellow players are so friendly, that I actually got one of my balls back--a pink Calloway, so yeah. As for the course conditions, the greens have recovered from aeration and each hole and fairway are cleverly designed. You'll definitely enjoy your round.
Carolina Colours Golf Club
Played On 08/24/2014Great First Impression
I normally play in Florida, so enjoyed the Carolina topography--especially the winding cart path through the swamp! I wanted to just sit there on the bridge and look out at the scenery--as for the golf, I liked the handicap info available for choosing the tees and I played gold for the first time--din't do too badly! Interesting and beautiful golf course.
The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club
Played On 07/12/2014Somz y'win
Good scenery, but the cart path could use a little smoothing. Some fairways were too dry--some too wet. The staff was very friendly and the golfers too! It's too often a single female golfer falls prey to mean golfers who seem to golf for the pleasure of intimidating others! The carpet in the locker room had that smell that old municipal golf locker rooms have--easily taken care of by using a pricier brand of disinfectant, I wold guess. The bar was classy, and I like that sort of ambiance, but I also like to be social, and no one was there on this Saturday at 5pm.
The Links At Cotton Valley Golf Club
Played On 1/24/2013out of the way, but worth it
i didn't realize how far from greenville when i booked this on golfnow, but it was worth it: quiet, bucolic, and staff was friendly.
