Tough course made even tougher due to many days of continuous rain. Very wet and cold made hitting most shots very difficult.
Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club - Sand Nine
Played On 05/29/2020Course in great shape, a little wet
4 1/2 hour round, wet conditions, but allowed to ride on fairway. Bay side closed, but Sand & Piper in great shape.

Good layout, a challenge from any tee. Downside lots of houses and out of bounds.
The Valley at Eastport Golf Club

Course in good shape. Bermuda greens very fast and roll true. 3 1/2 hour round very unusual for a BBC each course.

Diamondback Golf Course
Played On 04/04/2019Great weather, good golf course.
Every hole had at least 2 groups. Very crowded, so our round started at 1:47 and was not completed until 6:45. Extremely big crowd for a Thursday afternoon.
Cross Creek Country Club

This course is always in excellent condition. Greens were smooth, but slower than usual, due to dry summer they are not cutting them as close as normal.
The Challenge Golf Club

Winter kill strikes again. Several greens were in bad shape. Remaining greens were fine. Extremely wet around damaged greens due to watering, made playing difficult.
Lockwood Folly Country Club

Frost damage on greens, but still playable. Fairways and tees were excellent. Great layout, requires every club and using your head to avoid trouble. With normal green conditions, this would be a great place to play.
Eagle Nest Golf Club

Greens were punched and sanded, there was no notification on golf now at time of booking. Could have saved money by paying at the course, they were discounting green fees due to airification of the greens. Very disappointed with Golfnow for not posting a warning.
Rivers Edge Golf Club

The greens are normally perfect, but the sudden cold weather and frost have severely damaged the greens. All courses in this area are damaged.
Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club - Sand Nine

Unseasonably cold weather and frost killed the fairways and damaged the usually great greens. The Bay nine was closed due to damage. The other two nines were playable, but rough.
Jamestown Park Golf Course

Very wet conditions due to rain in area for several weeks. Tees and greens were fine. Excellent snack bar with made to order food.

Unseasonably cold and windy, very few people playing. Played 18 holes in 3 hours 15 minutes. Greens were excellent as always.

Good layout, smooth greens, very friendly staff. One slow group ruined a perfect golf day. Three hours to play last nine.

The Pearl Golf Links - West Course

Good layout, Greens were not cut close and very slow. Course condition was OK, but fairways were also not mowed close. I think they had over seeded w/rye.
Magnolia/Dogwood at Brunswick Plantation & Golf Links

Greens in poor shape. Bad drainage on tees and fairways, do not play if wet weather occurs 3-4 days prior to play. Play is fine if weather is dry.

Extremely wet after rain storms, Greens excellent very well drained. Playable course for all handicaps.
