Should not be open. There are no greens. Dead grass or no grass with piles of sand on the patches of gray that should be greens. Not playable. Came to the lake for the weekend and thought we’d play some golf, so we booked the only nearby course. We asked the nice lady in the clubhouse why there were no greens and she told us they haven’t been able to do anything with them and they are waiting for funding from Creek Nation to fix. Good luck.

Oldest public course west of the Mississippi. As you play it’s interesting to know that people have played this course for 120 years.The cart paths show their age and are beat up and bumpy, but the course is very playable, with a nice layout and a couple of drivable par fours and ends with a 250+ par three on 18. I’ll come back and play the next time I work in St. Louis. Nice staff, it’s in a part of town that has seen better days, so you may want to avoid any stops close by.

Course was in very good condition especially considering the extra traffic due to being one of the few courses open in the area.

They’re remodeling the clubhouse, so no extras, but still a great course. I was informed they’re shutting down March thru July next year, so get out and play this course before the changes. I’m sure the changes will be great.

Well maintained. Elevation changes hole to hole. Great view of downtown from several holes. Beautiful course.
