Blackledge Country Club - Anderson's Glen
Played On 07/01/2017Blackledge responds to comments
I have played Blackledge many times, the only complaint I've ever had was the greens were a little slower than I like. I mentioned this to the proshop staff and they obviously listened to my feedback and acted on it. On Saturday the greens were perfect! Fast and true.
Blackledge Country Club - Gilead Highlands
Played On 06/08/2017Anderson course has great track
I played the back 9 on June 8th. The course is in good condition considering the late spring weather. You can tell they are continuing to enhance the course and on a few holes have put in new women tee boxes on 12 & 14. The clubhouse is also seeing some changes with a new outside patio. They appear to be putting in any outside bar to augment the patio on nice summer days. Looking forward to that!

I was invited by a private member to play Farmington Country Club the other day and I have to say for the money Blackledge is on par with the conditions of that course.
Blackledge Country Club - Anderson's Glen

All good things to say about Blackledge Country Club. For the weather we've been having the course is in great shape. They must be watering like crazy people! We've had 10-15 days of over 90 deg.and the greens are in great shape!

I play Blackledge several times a week. My league plays there. Reading the last review I have consistently had a different experience. We rotate through the 4 9’s there, there are always carts and an abundance of cart boys shuttling, cleaning, maintaining carts esp on weekends. They often drive through the parking lot and ask if you need a pick up and ride somewhere – could they assist…. I’ve never seen a cart in bad shape. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. This early in the season I am not surprised that women’s gloves weren’t in stock. I’m a woman and experience this frequently at other courses I play. We’re the minority unfortunately, so I get it and thus have set my expectations as such. I have experienced inconvenienced parking when they have had a big tournament during the day and my league goes out after. Hey that’s the nature of the beast being a great golf course and everyone want to have their tournament there and play there. They’re nationally ranked – you gotta expect it. And in that light, I haven’t experienced a decline in services or amenities as a result either. Blackledge holds both their courses to the highest standards and are the only one around that I see continually investing in their course. Its kept me coming back for 15 years. I highly recommend the Gilead Course. Its my favorite.
