Very Nice!!

The course was in outstanding condition, though the greens were very fast and not always true, they were in great condition. You have to hit your targets on this course and if it is windy, which it definitely can be since it sits between the gulf and the bay, you really need to hit your targets. The course is not super long and a couple of the par 5's can be reached in 2 from the whites and if you hit long, a couple of the par 4's are drivable. Staff was outstanding and pace of play was unusually good for this area. All in all a very nice day out.

Fun Course

First off, the staff is great and the course well managed. Course was in outstanding shape, greens were great and ran true. Not too fast or too slow. There are a couple tough holes, but all and all it is a managable course if you keep it on the short grass. The rough can be quite high on some holes, just off the fairway and lost a couple of balls in the rough. Water jugs are available and filled on about every 2-3 holes. Driving range is nice, but range balls were a little pricey. Bottom line: One on the better courses in the Williamsburg area.

Outstanding

Ciurse was in great shape. Fairways well maintained and greens well groomed and true. Staff was great. Only one complaint and that is that the yardages on the scorecard don't match the signs on each hole. They varied quite abit which cancause some problems on the par 3s. But that was very minor. Overall great course!

Tough Test

This is a course that you should play once, to say you did it. It is a beautiful layout with some very interesting holes. The problem is that it is almost too difficult to be fun. If you miss a fairway, which most amateurs do, there is no runoff. Your ball just goes into little canyons and waste areas. Greens were in good shape, but they were stupid fast. It is kind of a gimmick course, so don't worry about your score. I would say that it is worth playing here once because it is a really neat layout, but don't get upset with your score at the end. Also, make sure you have a few balls.

Great Course!

Course was in great shape, though the greens were still a little bumpy. Layout is just great and lots of interesting holes. The course was not overly challenging as long and you keep it on the grass. The greens, much like every other course in Vegas were really fast and difficult for me (from Florida) to read. Also, lots and lots of sand. Jack sure does like sand. All and all it was a wonderful day of golf and I was paired up with two other great fellows. Definitely try this one out!

Fun in the Wind

Bottom line, this is a great little short course. I used it as a warm up round before a later afternoon round. The course was in fantastic shape. It is mostly par 3s, but there are 4 par 4s. Course was not very difficult which made it an enjoyable round, though the wind this morning was stiff and it was diffucult to know where you ball would end up. Price was good and staff was great. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful Course

I played the Saddlebrook course, which is cut in around cypress. The course is somewhat tight, but not terrible. Though if you do go into the trees, you are not going in after it. The course was in wonderful shape, but the greens were like glass. Be prepared for a lot of three putts. When the winter grass on the greens comes in a little more, they will be perfect. Again they were in great shape, just really fast.
The staff was great and very friendly. All and all it was a great day at a great course. We definitely come back.

Perfect Golf Day

Course was in outstanding shape. Staff was wonderful and had me off early. No one on the course and breezed through 18 with no waits. There are a couple of tricky holes (13) and if you are afraid of water, it can be a challenge, but all in all a very fun course to play.

Bring Your "A" Game

First things first, the course was in outstanding condition and the layout is great. But, it is not an easy course to play! Lots of long irons of the tee and then long irons into the greens, with losts of sand traps and marsh areas to play around. This course requires accuracy. Some of the greens have so little landing area around them that they are essentially island greens. It was a great course and the staff was wonderful. If you are up for the challange, then this one is for you. If you spray the ball all over the place, well, bring plenty of balls.

In great shape!

Course was in outstanding shape. Fairways were perfect and the green were well maintained and true. Wish I would have hit more fairways, but when you do miss, the penalty is not death, there is a chance to recover. Overall a great day of golf on a wonderful course!
