Really enjoyed Pipaash course at Talking Stick. The gold/jade tee box combo is perfect for my game and thus found the fairways (which are in great shape) most of the time and the putts rolled true on the well manicured greens.
Range balls were pretty old, and they get beat hard in the AZ sun.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant before our round and a cold beer afterwards.
The only real negative was the round taking nearly 5 hours. I saw no evidence of a ranger trying to keep the pace of play moving and there were some bachelors party groups playing scramble which I think slowed everything thing down.
Will definitely play Talking Stick again , maybe the O’Odham course next.

We played East to North. Lots of water and at times hitting the ball at the 150 pole you still couldn’t see the green.
Greens were slow and so was the group in front of us. I suppose the course conditions matched the fees, a bit lower cost than other courses in the area but also slower greens, and some rough tee boxes.
Starter was very talkative and had more jokes than course information.

I hadn’t played Chomonix in at least ten years and was nicely surprised by the course conditions and value. It can feel very narrow at times so you better be hitting it straight. Driver is not needed or advised on some of the narrow bending par 4s. One green was a bit beat up others were in excellent shape and putted true.

Will be back again soon.

Really enjoyed walking 18 with friends. Course is in excellent shape and I enjoyed the layout. Had played it years ago so this was a happy return.
Sand traps could use a bit more sand, but a pretty minor issue. Greens are firm but putted true.
Snack bar was open and bartender offered a plastic bag with ice to keep the beers cold , not needed but a nice offer.
All in all , this was a very enjoyable morning of golf.

Played the Gold course on a Monday morning, staff was friendly and helpful providing initial information and directions to get us started. Range balls were included so had a chance to warmup prior to the round.
Starter gave some helpful instructions and got us off on time. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Bunkers could use a bit more sand or maybe I should have gone in them less Snack shop and bathrooms are well placed on the course and the beverage cart was seen regularly.
Pace of play was excellent and even as a three-some we only waited once. The round took 4 hours

Will definitely play again when I’m in the Phoenix area. Was worth the drive out to Litchfield

I enjoyed the golf at Dove Valley Ranch very much. The front and back nines are very different and the back requires a lot more thinking and club selection.
Greens are a bit sparse and small rocks blasted out of the traps can deflect a good putt which is unfortunate. Greens at other courses in the area are in better shape , so sparseness is not a time of year issue.

I will definitely play Dove Valley Ranch again and make better use of the course map on the back nine.

With raised greens and well placed sand traps the course is quite challenging but it is also lots of fun. Greens were in good shape but the speeds were not consistent. Pace of play was a bit slow but staff came around and kept us informed which was appreciated.
I will play here again the next time I am in SW Phoenix
