Farmers field

The fairways are nothing but short rough and their ground is not sand, so they are hard as low quality driving range

Great views

Great course with fantastic vistas.
The course is fun to play, the holes are either going up hill or down hill.
the extremely challenging factor is the greens, somehow they rest on tilted plans so it is impossible to read them visually.

Fall play at the Royal

Great layout, slow pace, no marshalls. Last year the place was falling apart.

Going in the wrong direction

Played this course 8 years ago and it was a decent track, now it is just poor conditions maybe it is the drought. The greens where good anyway.

wasted potential

This course can easily be a top 10 GTA course, the views are stunning and equals Devil's Pulpit.

The greens are very good but the rest of the course is poor, maybe it is just the drought that is affecting it.

Another disappointing thing is that scores are not accepted for handicap calculations by golf Canada

The course design is some what mono tone, you are either hitting uphill or downhill.

Not what it used to be

The course still the same but the experience has totally changed.
With All the housing around the course and no tree barrier between the course and houses, Lionhead is no longer what it used to be.
It lost this sense of being this golf enclave that takes you into nature and still close enough.

Very Small Greens

The Course is very tough, the green sizes are so small you have to be extremely precise with your distances.

word of advice Assume red stakes on any wooded area, the club should do this to speed up play, people either spend too much time looking for balls or they keep coming back to drop and play for a lost ball.

Red Stakes please all over the course.
