The Legacy Golf Club
Played On 06/09/2018One of the best courses in Phoenix
I have played the Legacy golf course many times and have never been disappointed. Even when the other courses in town are dry and brown, legacy is green and in really good shape. The course layout is both challenging and fair. I recommend the Legacy golf course to anyone who comes to Phoenix to visit or lives in Phoenix and wants a good quality golfing experience.
Stonecreek Golf Club

I have played Stonecreek many times. Compared to other courses in the valley it is in really good shape. I have always had a good time there and will definitely return in the future.
McDowell Mountain Golf Club
Played On 09/02/2017All good but the greens
The tees and fairways were in fine condition as well as nice and green, so no complaints there. It's just a shame to watch all the putts wobble and hop instead of roll.
I realize that this is not a prime condition time of year for desert courses, but by comparison to other local courses of equal quality, the greens at McDowell Mountain were the worst I've played. They were very slow and extremely bumpy. It didn't appear as though they had been aerated recently, so that was not the reason.
Thankfully we got a good price on Golf Now, so the value of the round turned out to be closer to the overall quality of the course.
The Legacy Golf Club
Played On 08/19/2017Legacy is a must play course in Phoenix
I've played the Legacy resort course several times and at various times of the year. Even in the summer, the fairways and greens are always in great condition. From the time you turn in the main entrance, you get the sense of a true resort atmosphere. The buildings and the landscape are beautiful and well kept. The golf staff is welcoming, professional, and polite. Do yourself a favor and play the Legacy resort golf course.
South at Boulders Golf Club & Resort

The Boulders is one of the best golf courses in Arizona and one of the best courses I've ever played. Even though the greens had been recently aerated and were still quite bumpy and sandy, the course overall was in excellent condition. The scenery is amazing, and the variety of hole layouts is extremely interesting. It is not necessarily a course for beginners, but I would suggest this course to anyone who loves golf and craves a unique golf experience.
