The Palms course at Desert Springs proved to be an excellent challenge for this 18-handicapper. Lots of water to navigate on most fairways. Very picturesque track with beautiful views of The San Jacinto mountains.

We really enjoyed our round at this course on the Marriott Desert Springs property. Pristine conditions and good pace of play.

I played the Mustang course at Lely twice in 2020. The greens fee at around $240 seemed a bit stiff. Fast forward to 2023 and the morning rates are pushing $300. And I don't know how a non-member can plan on arranging a 4-some when they do not allow the public to book a tee time more than three days in advance. Despite this, I will keep Lely in my rotation when I visit the area, but I will not play there as often as I did in the past.

Very playable and affordable course with excellent greens.

Excellent conditions at this Del Webb property. We were disappointed that the beverage cart service was not available more than once during the round.

Tiburon is one of the best clubs in SW Florida. Very expensive to play, but you will not be disappointed in the conditions of the courses. Fast greens and shots on the Black course require a degree of control.

This is a great track with wide fairways, but challenging holes. Friendly staff in the clubhouse, but on course ranger was gruff and told us to speed up, despite waiting on the 3-some ahead of us on the previous hole. We sped up, only to wait on the last 3 tee boxes. Played the round in 4:10.

This course is a great value in a sea of overpriced Naples area courses. Lush, wide fairways, big greens and plenty of sand and water to avoid.

I have been looking forward to playing Falconhead for a couple of years. My last trip to Austin did not allow time to play there and several golfers recommended it. The course did not disappoint. Wide fairways were a welcome site for this rusty MN golfer. Generous greens that were a bit slow, but rolled true. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Challenging track in great condition for mid-winter. Fast and true greens. Very friendly staff. Front nine is hilly and difficult. Back nine is fairly flat and allows you to make up a few strokes you left on the front nine. Well worth the drive from downtown Austin.

If you are in the Destin-Seaside area, definitely put this course on your list. Challenging but very playable for the average golfer. In great condition for late-November.
