Great Course at a Great Price!

I've enjoyed Pheasant Run the few times I have played here. I have yet to feel rushed while playing at this course.

The fairways are just okay and you can sometimes have a difficult time finding your ball if it lands in the fairway. The greens are usually in great condition and play fast in the morning while wet.

The layout of the course is very tight at times and most holes are playing back towards the last hole you played. Keep your head up and ears peeled for shanked shots from other players - a few balls came very close to hitting us.

The back nine is much more difficult than the front. The front is very good for beginners just learning to play as most of the holes are straight shots to the green (besides holes 7 & 8).

All in all, I've always had a very relaxing time at Pheasant Run! You can get some VERY cheap deals using the GolfNow app.

Overall an Enjoyable Course

There are no complaints with the course conditions, the fairways and greens were great! There are some holes with drastic elevation changes so you need to be mindful of where you place your shots. My only real complaint is the the pace of play. I went as a duo and were waiting on a duo ahead of us who was waiting on a foursome ahead of them and you get the idea... Towards the 5th hole is was backed up and we felt we were being rushed to take our shots since the pairs behind us were waiting... but we were waiting on the pair ahead of us to clear the green. When we finally finished our 9 holes, there was a queue of THREE groups waiting on the first hole - that just shouldn't happen if the facility is enforcing tee-times.

All in all a very enjoyable but if you don't want to feel rushed I recommend playing early in the morning or later in the evening.

Great Course for Iron Training

A great little course that has surprisingly nice, challenging greens. A fantastic 9-hole course that is great for learning how to play your irons. There are 4 water holes, so be sure to bring extra balls if you're a beginner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating - they threw in an free, additional 9-hole round for it being my first time there. The holes play quick, but I never once felt rushed by other players on any of the holes. I will definitely be going back!
