I have been waiting a half a year for the course to reopen. I had played here on multiple occasions and found the layout good but the conditions terrible. I was assured that more attention would be given once the rebuild was completed. Nothing could have been farther from the truth. The course was a wreck, fairways rough and the greens patchy. The worst part was that the GPS on the carts was still not linked to the course. I have played in the area regularly, for years, and don’t only play the pricey, pristine courses. This was the worst conditions of any course I’ve played.

To label this as a “best bang for the buck” course does it a great disservice. It is a community course that meets or exceeds expectations for an enjoyable, and challenging round of golf in its price range.

Definitely a best bang for the bucks choice. Challenging enough, maintained enough to be well worth the cost of playing there without disappointment. Pristine it is not, but Pristine comes with a much higher price tag

This host of Senior Open promises a top shelf golfing experience, and it delivers. The course was pristine. Recreational players, with unrealistic expectations, will have some tough moments. Having a solid grip on reality, and an extra sleeve, or two of balls, made this an exceptional outing, that I hope to repeat.

We arrived early, because of weather concerns. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The conditions were suboptimal, due to recent aeration, but we were well informed prior to our booking. The conditions were acceptable, and except for the anticipated imperfections, the grooming was meticulous. As a 15 handicap, I found the course challenging, but thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend it to players, of all levels. We will return, for certain.
