This course is consistently in good condition. The price is usually very fair, often below market price for a course of Rio’s quality. You may or may not know this, but they did used to host a professional tournament at Rio Pinar. This tournament drew big names and has some champions that are now in the Golf HOF. The urban legend is that Arnomd Palmer bught Bay Hill b/c he hated playing Rio (it sets up for a lot of fades off the tee and Arnie famously hit a draw). The guys in the clubhouse are normally very friendly and cordial. Alcohol and food prices are fair. There are some huge squirrels on the course; so prominent in the community that the tee boxes are actually in the shape of a squirrel. They will tKe your food, so be careful. Overall, for the money, my favorite place to play in Orlando. I play a lot and have played many of the course around town.
