after all I've heard that this is supposed to be a challenging course that's kept in great condition, I was surprised to find it in poor to average shape. Lots of mowed grass left on the fairways, sand traps very hard and mud in some , greens were bumpy and not cared for and there was trash on the course with several trash cans full not emptied. This was mid morning . Staff was very friendly. Pace of play was very slow with no marshall to help correct it. May give it another chance but for the cost of play, there are several courses in the area that are more cost effective.
