Steve

Great day playing a fairly busy course. For a record setting hot day I was surprised by the crowds. Until we started playing and discovered a course in good condition and fun to play.

Short but Sweet

We played the blue tees at 6100. While that made some holes short it didn't make them easy. Enjoyed the round.

Overrated

The $1 Beers for after the round were great. The course is tough and in rough shape. Numerous bare spots in the fairways but the greens were good and running true. Since we used the golfnow "hot deal" it was a good value, otherwise it probably was not.

Great Views, Great Golf

My wife and I took a week vacation to Sedona to get out of the heat in the valley. Used the "hot deal" time at 11:30 AM and beat the heat and had a wonderful afternoon of golf. The course is in great condition, the layout can be very tough at times. Especially the 590 yd par 5 straight up the hill. This hole plays very long, I used driver, 3 wood and 3 wood to get on. On this course you either play in the grass or you are out of play. Enjoyed the day and plan to play here again.

Fun Day After The Rain

The course was very wet after a night of rain. The front nine was cart path only and made it a little harder to enjoy the golf. However, the course layout and overall condition was very good. Enjoyed the round and will be back to play again.

Great Shade on a Hot Day

Very well maintained. Enjoyed the layout and the challenge. On a hot summer day the tall shade trees were very welcome. Since I used the hot deal tee time at 10:45 AM there were very few people out and I finished in 2 1/2 hours. I will go back to play again.

Surprised Ater Paying for 18 with ONLY 9 Open

After playing twice last week with the unlimited play deal, I went to play yesterday only to be told after I paid that the back 9 was closed and I had to play the front 9 twice. Since I was an early tee time the front 9 went quickly but the back nine (front 9 twice) was very, very slow. 1 1/2 hours for the front nine, 3 hours to play the back nine. Closing the back nine was planned and I should have been warned on both golfnow (assuming the course told them) and when I checked in. The fact that they didn't tell me until after I paid was unfair. I was told the course will be having work done for the next 3 weeks at a minimum. Since it will take awhile to recover, I wouldn't recommend this course for the rest of the summer.

A Hot Afternoon of Fun

This was the first time on this course and we had so much fun that we will be back again soon. The course layout is a challenge to play the first time. Lots of trouble waiting for the unsuspecting golfer. I expect the next time will be more fun and a better score. For summer time heat the course is in great shape and the staff helpful and very friendly. My wife, daughter and I all enjoyed the round.

Great Summer Time Golf Value

The starter sent me out as a single and I was done in 2 hours and 10 min. Two groups were nice to let me play thru. The course is in very good shape for summer and the trees provide just enough shade to keep us cool. Great staff and service made my play day loads of fun. I'll be back to play at least once a week thru the summer. I don't like the policy change to not include warm up balls with the on-line tee times. Please change that back.

First Time Play

Played this course for the first time. Enjoyed the layout and found the course to be a good challenge. The last three holes are the toughest and most fun to play. I will be back to play again as long as I can find a "hot deal" that makes it worth it.

Course needs water.

Too many tight lies. Seems like the course was not getting enough water. Even the tee boxes were dry and hard. Broke a couple of tees just trying to put them in the ground. Good pace on the front nine but the back nine was super slow. I think they were letting people out on the back to play 9.

Beautiful weather, great round of golf!

The course is in great shape. Between that and beautiful weather I had lots of fun playing golf. Stay out of the sand or bring lots of suntan lotion..... since the remodel, everything is staying in great shape. Enjoyed the round.

Great afternoon in the sun and a very enjoyable course.

The winter rye is coming in great, the greens are getting faster and faster. Pay attention on the greens, on this course the putts can really make or break your game. Really enjoyed the course.

Green as Green Can Be

My wife and I enjoyed the beautiful weather while totally enjoying the challenge of golfing a well maintained golf course. While it's an older course, it still was tough to stay out of the trees. Remember it's very important to recover before thinking about the next shot.

Older, well maintained and just plain fun to play

The winter grass is coming in beautifully. The old trees line the fairway making center shots critical to your success. An enjoyable test of your game.

This is a course to avoid.

They had just opened the front nine following overseeding, but they should have kept it closed until the greens could be cut enough to be able to putt. My carpet in the house is cut closer than these greens are. Not being able to putt means you can't really play half the game, so I over paid at $9 plus did not have any fun.
