This course offers stunning views with many holes playing from high points. My only real gripe is the tee boxes abs greens are in really bad shape. For the golfer that cares about well cut tee boxes and good greens this is not for you. Another issue is our cart was broken even after getting assistance and for the cost of the round we expected far more

Great course. It’s probably my favorite public/private course in the area. I recommend not playing if there’s been rain the same week otherwise it’s in excellent condition.

Firstly the course is almost double what other green fees are in the area and I’m first in line if it’s worth it, but honestly the conditions were atrocious. The course really should have been closed. After discussing this with the staff they weren’t bothered at all. There was nowhere to clean our mud covered shoes and the carts are in bad condition. The course layout is good, but the greens are unfortunately the worst I have played in a while. Some foreign grass has started to grow on the surfaces which causes an uneven, patchy grass.

Let me start by saying we played this course after a couple of days of rain so the ground was a little soggy. The layout is good and there are three stunning holes. However, the 7th has some sewage problem and the smell was horrific to say the least, a few of the greens were pretty terrible condition considering the reputation. It’s not a course I would rush back to, especially since the Jones course is used to hype up the Jackson, beware that this is the public ‘poor man’ course.
