This was one of the great values and plays I've had all year. I came from Benbrook & even w/o the GolfNow deal, this one must be played. Late Saturday AM tee-off on a nice park style layout (Red & Blue anyway) and all was great. Course was well-tended to, staff appeared glad that you came and I'm looking fwd to playing the White course, which has more water. 5 out of 5 stars all the way around. Keep it going, Prairie Lakes!!

We played on a Sat morning and the tee boxes looked like rough on other courses. Grass clippings littered the fairway which there was no distinction between it and the rough. Greens were automatic 2 putt as they were thick, not mowed and unputtable. All in all, an awful experience especially for $55 / ea. They should have payed us to play there. The layout has promise but management needs to pay up otherwise give it back to nature and the rabbits.

Great clubhouse help. Challenging layout and pretty good greens soon after the big storm. Will be back again.

Shot one of the better rounds out here this year. Good tree-lined but fair fairways, quick but true greens and real sand in the bunkers. You'll definitely play this course different the 2nd time around but most of it is right in front of you. Definitely has the rustic feel to it. Just don't mind the continual Guardsmen doing their weekend training in the F-15s. A good time and nice course!

Great layout but all 18 greens were unplayable and the back 9 didn't even have temporary greens. Grass clippings were stuck in the rough and cart path and this was on a Sat morning. To its credit, this course has a really great layout that makes you think off of the tee box but it's hard to get over that when your putter never gets out of the bag. It needs a lot of TLC and a professional outfit to come in and bring out its potential.

This used to be the crown jewel of North Texas but the front 9 has been bastardized to make it into a par 72. #4 and #9 are par 4's regardless of where the tee boxes have been moved. Back 9 is still great but the course was in the worst shape I've seen it in some time. Many barren patches on tee boxes and fairways but green were good. Turn this course back into a par 70 as soon as you can and make it what it can be.
