Dump

Greens punched recently but no price break! Balls bouncing on green like meadowlark lemon dribble. Fairways trash, lots of dead spots. Won't go back again to this gRbage dump

On the way back

Friday 8am only 1 car in lot. 2.5 hrs to get around. Course getting in shape again. Most greens in very good shape with only a few having some sand spots. Fairways very good as they can now cut them after all the rain. Only downside is bunkers. Grass growing only dirt no sand. They need major upgrade there.due to rsons csnt cut rough low enough so its tall and thick. Give it a shot again!

Avoid at all costs

Friendly staff in nice small clubhouse

After that-f a g e d d a b o u t it.
Absolutely the worst conditioned course I have ever seen. No money put in to maintain anything. Carts have stained, torn seats that barely run.

Greens are like carpet - shag with holes. I stopped putting after 2 holes so as not to ruin stroke. Tee boxes are dirt and long weeds, in other words the rough.

No visible fairway yardage plates. Foulways terrible.

I stopped playing after 4 holes and just "drove" in.

Just pave it over for a parking lot as the song says.

Gem 9 holer

Old school fun 9 hole course in Royal Oak golden triangle near Linwood Ave.

Regulation length with p5 and nice p4. 2nd hole dogleg left requires accurate tee shot.

5th hole has pond in front so avoid being too close othe rise you'll fly wedge over back fence and bounce ball off 3rd floor balcony ala Morelando did back in 88.

Nice length p3's. Excellent conditions, great p r o shop staff. Felt like I was back in the 60's on a nice Sat afternoon.

Superb 9 hole layout

What 9 hole course gives you 2 P5's? 2nd hole P4 dogleg requires bending tee shot left. P3's are all managable, with 9 being longest. Be careful on # 5 P4 not to take too much club to carry little pond in front of green on 2nd shot or you will bounce a ball off the 3rd floor apt balcony ala A Morelando years ago.

Course in excellent condition, always crowded after work. Flat, but loads of fun. Nice counterpoint to little brother Normany Oaks, which is more mundane.
