This is the closest course to our new home in Ocala, FL. We pass by this club every day and so it was only a matter of time before we tried it. The price was right and it was a perfect day. The course isn't fancy. The layout is conventional and the conditions aren't perfect. But it's a long, playable, championship course and a good value for the money. We will return.

Great road trip on the MLK Holiday weekend. I'd heard about this course for a few years but could never justify the travel or time. This last weekend was perfect for the excursion. Greens Fees here in Naples were well over $180 PP and fees here were $26 PP.. At that rate we could afford to fill up the tank in our hybrid and go to Belle Glade. What an amazing experience. It is a municipal course but it has SOOOO much character. The staff is exceptionally friendly. (Thanks Jen!) Unforgettable experience.

My wife and I traveled to the DR on Christmas day. We drove to PGA Ocean's 4 from Punta Cana the next day and experienced the most spectacular round of golf ever. The course was in perfect condition and the cool, gentle Christmas winds of the Caribbean caressed us at every turn. Do not pass up the opportunity to play this course. It is a bucket list, once-in-a-lifetime destination course. It would be worth any price just to be able to play the four spectacular ocean holes (7, 8, 16, and 17) but the entire course is immaculate. I have seen golf in the DR on television before and could not believe how beautiful the courses were. Seeing is believing. I have played 5-star courses all over Florida, plus Costa Rica, Palm Springs, CA, Lake Tahoe, CA, Bandon Dunes, OR, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. PGA Ocean's 4 was the best experience of all. I will dream of playing there again and hope my dreams come true.

From beginning to end, this was truly the most incredible golf experience I have ever had in my life. I've had the good fortune to golf at many wonderful clubs and courses in this hemisphere but PGA Ocean's 4 was by far the most remarkable experience of all. I have not stopped thinking about our day on this beautiful golf course. Absolutely impeccable conditions, friendly staff and a stunning, challenging layout. I imagine that the other famous + up and coming DR courses have a lot to offer but I will never forget our visit to PGA Ocean's 4. GOLFHEAVEN

There was a significant communication breakdown with the starter on hole #1. After we teed off and were approaching the green he drove out after us and interrupted our play. He asked us "Where are you from?" We told him that we were from Naples. He proceeded to complain that there were people behind us that wanted to tee off. We had no idea why he was complaining. We teed off at our scheduled tee time, and people always want to tee off with tee times scheduled later so we did not understand his behavior. He left and we continued. We weren't interrupted again and had a fabulous time. The course is in EXCELLENT condition. We are sorry to hear that it is going 100% private in 2023 but are not surprised. NOTES: (1) They do need a bathroom facility on the front nine. (2) There was no ranger on the course so when we got behind a foursome of beginners there was no way to resolve the constant delay. We finished 45 minutes behind pace and that was because 3 of the four beginners quit playing after 9 holes.

We knew that the weather forecast was calling for cooler temps, wind, and rain when we booked the tee time - but we thought that we were up for the adventure so we journeyed North from Naples expecting the worst. Much to our surprise, and even though we only got nine holes in, we had an excellent experience at San Carlos GC. The staff is super friendly and, unlike most golf courses in SWFL, there are very few water hazards so I didn't lose a single golf ball. NOT ONE! :) For the price paid, this was an incredible value. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in remarkable condition. If only the pouring rain hadn't arrived and spoiled our fun! We'll be back again for sure!

We live in Naples and greens fees there are already at a minimum of $80 for a round on a championship course. It was worth the drive to Port Charlotte to enjoy a beautiful day at King's Gate. There's nothing fancy about this club or the experience but it was better than expected considering the fact that they are still recovering from Hurricane Ian in that area. My wife and I were paired up with another couple and had a great time. If you're not trying to impress your friends or score a prestigious branded golf shirt then give Kings Gate a try.

Why did I go here? I have never liked this course. I have never had a good round at this course. I always say that I will never play here again but once a year I see a price that is so low that I can't refuse and I find myself wondering why I tool the bait. I arrived here, checked in, rolled up to the starter and handed him the receipt and then found out that it was going to be "CART-PATH ONLY"! It was beastly hot and humid and this only made matters worse. The fairways were mucky, The tee boxes were aerated and all sandy. The speed of the greens was inconsistent. I came home scorched and muddy. If I missed my pitch to the greens the ball stuck down into the muck about 1" and was unplayable. $1.05 per hole is an incredible price to pay - even for a HOT DEAL but this was a $19 investment for torture.

P.S. - The tiger lily flowers were beautiful.

I haven't played at FG since the Pandemic. Nothing has changed. Everything about this CC is excellent. Staff is friendly, course conditions are impeccable, and I even scored an incredible Hot Deal. To golf at this perfect course for under $30 is an incredible value. Don't ever pass up the opportunity to play here. Forest Glen is one of the finest golf clubs in Naples -- and that is saying a lot!

The facilities are well-equipped and the staff is very friendly. I must say that we experienced a significant backup on the third tee - (we waited 10 minutes to tee off before giving up and driving back to speak with the starter). He was super accommodating and explained that there were several families on the course with young children. They were accommodating these members due to the Easter Holiday. He offered to let us start on the back nine. From that point on we had a great day. The course is in good shape and the fairways have some beautiful moguls that are unique to SWFL. Greens are fast. If you don't mind all of the temporary ugliness of the construction machinery and detours this is a great course.

Where do I begin? How about perfect mid- '70 degree weather with a steady breeze. Followed by a friendly staff, impeccable conditions, good pace, and a challenging, beautiful course. We LOVED this club and can't wait to play it again!

We live on the West Coast of Florida and are partial to the paradise coast golf experience but this was a magnificent surprise. It's no wonder that all the golf professionals settle in Jupiter, FL. I can only imagine what some of the exclusive private clubs are like in this area. I'll be back for sure!

At this time of year, golf is so expensive in SWFL that you must make sacrifices in order to satisfy your urge to swing a golf club on a Par 72 course for under $4 per hole. The majestic golf club is one of those sacrificial experiences. On the plus side, the greens and approaches were good compared to other "blue-collar" courses in the area. The tee boxes were also in fairly good shape. However, the fairways were nasty and the rough even nastier. The water hazards are like something you'd see in a horror movie - (ugly and foul-smelling). For that kind of experience, you'd think the course would be wide-open. However, you would be wrong because we waited for at least 5 minutes on every single hole. There is a starter but he obviously was not making sure groups were started on a staggered schedule. There is no ranger to re-route traffic or nudge groups along. There are no bathroom facilities other than nasty port-a-potties. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and we got it -- a below-average golf experience. I can't wait for May to arrive and the snowbirds to pack up their golf clubs and head North!

It's tourist season in Naples. That means $150-$300 per round if you want to play a championship course. Fortunately (at least for the time being) there are three executive courses that can be played for under $60. (Of course, if you watch the rates on a weekly basis and look for deals you may be able to play a round of golf for under $50 but duffers get up early here and the shopping is more competitive than the golf). We had perfect 72-78 degree weather on Sunday afternoon so my wife and I walked the course. The tee boxes are pretty beat up but the fairways and greens are looking pretty good. We paired up with another couple and enjoyed our day but the pace was SLOW! If you've never played here -- please be advised that the front 9 is unimpressive and the back 9 is beautiful. ENJOY!

This is the third time we drove up from Naples to play here. The conditions were great! It's a fun little course but it can also be challenging. We like the back 9 better than the ont 9. If you like to walk, or if you just like playing Executive courses then Cross Creek may be for you. I recommend that you try it.

Lehigh Resort Club is shabby. It's a nine-hole course that you play twice. The most remarkable aspect of the course is that it's located next to the only sinkhole in southwest Florida. (It's a well-kept secret). Fortunately for us, the weather was great and we were paired up with another nice couple so we shared a few laughs along the way. Otherwise, we would have complained about the conditions throughout the entire afternoon. Save your money and go to a real resort and/or a real country club. This course is depressing.,

This round of golf was a nightmare. It took us nearly 5 hours to play the North + South courses combined. The biggest issue were the players in front of us on the South course and the total absence of a ranger. We waited nearly 20 minutes on each of the last 8 holes. We almost ran out of daylight. What was even more amazing was that the group in front of us drove their carts on the greens - ON EVERY SINGLE HOLE! No, they didn't have handicap flags. They were just terribly overweight, arthritic, self-centered and ignorant people. Del Tura is a nice lite course (especially the North track) but I will never play here again on the weekend during tourist season.

I live within walking distance of the three Lely Resort courses but rarely play golf here primarily because of the cost. However, this weekend I found an afternoon Hot Deal under $100 and the experience was well worth the investment - (my partner paid over $200 as a walk-in without a tee time). The Flamingo Island course has always been my favorite, (next to the Lely Classics course which is 100% private), and it was in impeccable shape on Sunday. Hole #5 is an amazing par 3 with a beautiful island green. The staff is not the friendliest but the Flamingo Island course itself and the on-site "Sam Sneads" restaurant make up for it. I forgot how much fun the Flamingo course is. I drive by it almost every day and will be tempted to shell out top dollar again for the experience. I recommend that you skip the Lely Mustang course and play the Lely Flamingo Island course at your next opportunity.

For less than $1.00 per hole, I was able to work on all aspects of my game. Unlike every other course in Naples at this time of year - it wasn't crowded or nasty. This is not a Ritz-Carlton/Marriott or private Country Club. Several of the greens are under repair and featured temporary greens. Keep your expectations in line with reality. Have fun!
