The Stadium Course at PGA WEST

I was disappointed in playing the golf course today. The course layout was difficult but fair. It was a little windy so that added an additional factor as well. Where I was disappointed was in the conditions of the course. The PGA tour was just here less than 4 months. In that time, some of the sand traps were light on sand, the greens had some burn out, some of the fairways had some burn spots. They gave each cart 2 bottles of water. It was only just short of 100 degrees today.

Great course in great condition. Pace of play was a little slow since they had a drivable par 4 on back. I took some pictures of the scenic views. Greens were fast but fair. They had drink stations every 3 holes for ice and water. The fairways can be a little tight at times.
Linden Hall Golf Course

This was a great surprise of a course but it really enjoyed the golf course. Fairways were spongy and in great shape. Greens held all of the shots that hit it. They were a little slower than I normally played but rolled true and also were in great shape. From the white tees, it was 6400 yards but did not seem that long. Back nine had a lot of elevation changes. It was a great course and gem of a find. Would definitely play it again if I am in town.

Played On 06/16/2020Great layout. Bad greens
The layout was very good but the greens were terrible. They had sand and aerated them a couple weeks ago. Was extremely disappointed to find out they aerated. When I booked the tee time, it did not mention any of that.
We appreciate your comments and the 4 star review. We do try to inform guests of conditions however with new employees in the shop this may have been missed. We aerify in early June and the 2nd week of August every year.
We regret you were not aware of the course maintenance before you arrived. If you had booked directly with the someone in the golf shop they would have informed you that recovery on the greens is taking about a week longer than expected due to many factors. We hope you'll play again in a few weeks when conditions will be optimal.
