Pretty course, nice views, greens fast if scarred up. There is so much play here I imagine its hard to keep course in good shape. Very Very expensive for the value. Staff friendly and positive. Pro shop looked as if a hurricane had gone thru it. Merchandise in disarray, wrinkled, certainly not top quality.

neighborhood course, interesting architecture surrounding it. Outside staff prompt, helpful, cheerful.
Greens fairly slow, but stay below the holes!! Lots of slope and elevation changes on the course. Hole 3 is 90 degree dogleg for 300 yd. Par 3 hole 16 notable for extreme drop tee to green.

Much different this year with little building going on due to covid. Grounds were in very nice shape, very wet as they are watering profusely. Cant play back tees as they save them for the tournament. Pace was 4 hrs 30min.

Payed course many times before. This time (first of 2019) found course to be in poor shape. Practice area was very bad, practice chipping area worse. Greens very soft and marked up badly. Mowing was happening today, lots of extra grass and debris. Runoff from recent rains not dealt with. For one of highest cost golf courses in Scottsdale, poor presentation. Always one of my favorite golf courses, in poor shape today.
Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia
Played On 2/27/2013Maintenance at this course much less than previously experienced.
Greens were soggy and pitted. Green aprons were rough and splotchy with bermuda and rye competing in shaggy haircut. Not one marshall visible on course for 4 and 3\4 hour round.
Course was rough, looks as if maintenance budget has been greatly reduced.
Pine at McCormick Ranch Golf Club
Played On 1/12/2013Nice course, maybe a bit overpriced?
Staff was excellent, greeting us as first time players with warmth and enthusiasm. Course is wide open, no real trouble, Winter grass thin and sparse lending to stark feel. We were first off on a very cold morning (60 minute frost delay) and played in 3 hours, enjoyed that.
Starfire Golf Club - The King Course
Played On 1/8/2013Positive round, enjoyed the course and the experience. Two people, a 3 and a 10 handicap.
Staff was great, especially Hugh! Enjoyed the course as first timers there. Play took 4 hrs 15 and we could have gone faster. Would have liked to walk but couldnt do that until later in the day for the courses fear of slowing play.
Played blue (back) tees. On 3 holes on the HAWK, trees overhang the teeing area slightly. Hit one with a 7 iron on a par 3 hit directly at the flag. Need a little pruning.
Greens were very fair, quick downhill putts! Traps were very firm, dont dig deep. Will go back.
