We visit the Hilton Head area every Spring and play this course. Conditions don’t warrant the green fees.
We were playing the third hole when the ranger came up to us and told us we were behind and to speed it up. We were not behind but he insisted we were. He got angry when I tried to explain we were not behind.
We finished the round in 3 hours 55 minutes. We were never behind and the three some behind us never had to wait on our four some. You would think in these tough times that the. Course would hire rangers that are not grumpy old men

Little far out from HHI or Bluffton but worth the ride. Never crowded and excellent value for the money.

Great course and layout. Plenty of challenge. Best greens we played in HHI.

Excellent course in the HHI area. Don't miss playing this course. It is in great shape and very challenging. Staff is friendly and pace of play was great. I hope they don't sell this course to developers as the local buzz is talking about. We play this track once or twice every trip to SC.

This is not Championsgate at the Omni. This course is new and behind those other courses. New layout. Excellent course, great staff, and very challenging. Bring your sand wedge!

Outstanding course and value. One of the best in the Orlando area. Don't miss this one. Play both courses if you have time. Panther lake is the more challenging of the two but Crooked Cat is a gem as well.
Fantastic practice area.

This course has come back. A few years ago it fell into some dis-repair but its in great shape again.
