Dragon's Fire Golf Club
Played On 11/20/2020Great Season End!
Managed to get in a season end game. Stunning day but windy and gusty! Course was in great shape, fairways and greens.
Hitting into the wind really lengthen the holes. The 9th hole was a particularly challenging par 3, at only 150 but with water and a very gusty left to right wind made club selection critical!
Great season overall!

Played On 11/12/2020Great Course and Pace
Played Carlisle G&C North course for the first time. Stunning day with perfect conditions, weather and course. Typically I’ve been riding but being later in the season thought I would walk. Great pace with no one in front or behind us.
Fairways and greens were in very good condition. I would definitely play here again!
Pineland Greens Golf Club
Played On 11/04/2020Fun Little Course
I played a round with a few friends that play there regularly. I’m just recently back into the game after around a 20 year hiatus. I did play Pinelands many years back and only remember the long 9th hole par 3.
Fun little executive course with water on several holes but oddly, no bunkers. Course was in good shape and relatively quiet.
Great place for a fun time, not overly difficult and reasonably short in length (best to play from the blues).
Staff were friendly enough. Pull carts were available as was power carts.

Played On 10/28/2020Slow but Steady Play
I’ve played here several times this season and enjoyed every time. Pace was slow at times but not too bad. I like the layout but some of the tee blocks were in less that great condition. Fees are a little high but these days course are expensive to maintain.
Overall nice course!

Played On 10/07/2020Layout Confusing
I used to play this course years ago and gave it a try last month. Tricky to know the layout but we played with 2 members who knew the course. Multiple tees on one tee block so it’s a bit different, almost seems like they were lacking the acreage to accommodate 27 holes.
Fairways weren’t cut short enough and the rough is fairly long. There isn’t a first cut of rough, it’s fairway or rough. Not uncommon to have other groups golf balls on your fairway. Pace was erratic at times, it would get backed up and then it was as if the group ahead would skip a hole.
Overall, I think there are nicer courses to play in the area.
I wrote this review but it was meant for Dragons Fire not Carlisle GCC!
