Clearly, no money has been put into the upkeep of this course for quite some time. Most green are dirt patches, making putting impossible to be fair. Fairways have more weeds than grass. It’s a shame, but I would not recommend this course to any players at any level unless the greens fees are at $5, which they are not. Will not be coming back here anytime in the next 6 months.

Really cool track. Lot of fun shots. Tons of water so bring a good amount of balls. The peninsula greens are hard but not so difficult that it’s unfair to the average golfer. Keep it straight, and you’ll have a good time. Great course conditions too. Staff was very friendly.

Course was in great shape. Challenging course at times but not unfair. The loop around the lake on holes 14-17 was very cool.

Greens were great but the fairways have been absolutely murdered. Tons of dead grass, dirt patches. Won’t be coming back until that is fixed. Other than that, it’s a cool track.

Course isn't bad for what you pay. Greens are slowly coming back. Fairways could use a little work. Some tee boxes are in rough shape. Overall, not a bad course. But wouldn't pay more than about $30 to play. Some challenging holes, some very bland holes.

This is a good, challenging track. I was not a Florida resident so I ended up paying about $30 more than what GolfNow told me I had to pay. So I would call before you book a tee time. The course plays very well, is in good shape, and gives a solid challenge to intermediate golfers.

Pretty short, but a few long par 4s. Course was in great shape compared to others in the area. Some challenging shots, gotta be able to keep it straight. Enjoyed it.

This course has a lot of water, but if you can keep it straight then it's a fun course to play. Challenging shots with some obstructed views combined with very straightforward par 3s. I enjoyed it and will be back.

Cheap rounds can be found on GolfNow. It's not in the greatest of shape, but definitely worth what you pay. It's challenging at times. Staff is always friendly, but nothing overly special about this course.

Compared to courses in a 20ish mile radius, this is the best one. I've thoroughly enjoyed playing here. It's challenging, in great shape, and plays quickly.

Not a challenging course, but still gotta keep it straight. Very short so driver isn't always in play. Good shape, pretty cheap on GolfNow. Always a good pace of play.

This is a great course. If you are in Oxford for a weekend, take the time to play here. The Course is always in great shape. I played here frequently for the four years I was in college at Ole Miss. It's a fun track, and the pace of play is always quick. I highly recommend this course

Whether coming from Memphis or Oxford, or just passing through, stopping by Kirkwood is worth it. It's a very challenging course, but it's in terrific shape and not overpriced. Just make sure you play with someone who has played before. My first time playing, I played by myself and where to place your shot is not always 100% clear.

The course had issues at times with conditions, most likely due to low maintenance levels, but it was never unplayable. Always enjoyed shaking it up here, instead of my usual Ole Miss GC round. This course has some really difficult holes, a few blind shots, and elevation plays a role. It's a challenging course but not overly difficult. Played here occasionally for four years while at Ole Miss.
