Pebble Creek Golf Course
Played On 02/11/2024Great challenge!
Course was very good despite the rain that we have had. Greens were Phenomenal. Pace of play was brisk but it was Super Bowl Sunday. 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours.
Sewells Point Golf Course
Played On 04/15/2024An average course when you want to get a quick round in
First time playing this course. Didn't know that it's a military base course. Staff are extremely friendly! Course could be better. Some of the tee boxes devoid of grass. Sometimes I couldn't tell if I was on the fairway or the rough. On 18, I teed off and my drive hit the fairway and a cloud of dust cans up. I will consider this as "early in the season " conditions. But I would come back here again if in town.
Sunrise Golf Course
Played On 04/23/2022Great course
First time I played this course. Played behind a couple. 3 1/2 hours to play 18. Good layout and course conditions reminded me of courses that I played in Michigan. Visit this place! You won't be disappointed!
Graywolf Golf Course
Played On 07/30/2022Poorly managed
Drove 80 miles to try this course out. Soon as I pull in, I'm disappointed. Tool shed for a clubhouse. One guy running it. I'm told that they're having golf cart issues. I saw 3 carts out of commission. They have no carts and I have to wait for people to come in. Foursome on the first tee and they're waiting 45 minutes for the second cart to come in. They haven't even started yet! Two groups waiting for their cars in front of me. I got a complimentary small bag of balls to hit on the range while I wait. Went through them. Putted on the practice green. And waited. And waited. No carts. A single came through because he started on the back nine (?!?) and was making the turn. I called GN and cancelled the round. I'm not coming back to this place. Oh BTW, a portolet for the clubhouse isn't a good visual. Chi Chi Rodriguez designed? I played mom and pop courses better than this place.

I wanted to play a nice course. But I chose this course. Slow play. Greens were TERRIBLE. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. They ALL needed to be reseeded. Even the practice green. When you see the practice green, turn and run. Literally, RUN. I don't know who gives this place 4 stars. You must not golf much. I play MI, OH,IN,KY,NC and SC. So I know what I'm looking for. Putting is the most important part of the game. This is just a money grab.

Played On 11/10/2021Great place, rate and staff
I support mom and pop places. Especially ones that go out of their way to accommodate you. This is one of those places and I highly recommend playing here. Course has vastly improved from the first time that I played here a few years ago. Staff are friendly and greens are in awesome condition.

Played On 09/29/2018Was excited to play this course...
I got to the course 10 minutes late due to construction on I74. Called the staff encounter and they were understanding. I was brought up from my car by a member. Friendly guy. Explained the greens were rough on the front 9 but the back should be decent. Rough? Abysmal would be the word. Can’t putt if there’s bare spots on the green. Or holes that looked like aeration holes. My putts look like a ball in a Pachinko game. That much bouncing. You had to make every shot count because if you’re a few feet off the mark, it’s difficult to locate the ball. 16th green wasn’t even a green. It was the fairway cutdown but not to green height. Was like putting on a braided carpet instead of a green. I only gave this course 2 stars because the staff alone were the high point for this round. Now if they only hired as good groundskeepers.

I booked this for a threesome. We wanted to play a course near to us. Figure to try this one out. Staff is awesome. The bar and concessions are very good with daily specials from the bar. I have played The Willows and Fox Run in the past.
Pulling in you see they paved over the parking lot and and lined it properly. They marked the cat path clearly when in the parking lot.
Front nine was pretty good and challenging. Then at the 10th green it all went downhill. Tenth green was 95% burnt down to dirt. In fact a guy was watering it as we were playing. We were shocked because it was so early in the season since its not even summer yet. 3 more holes were like this. TRULY disappointed. Maybe they should go to check Shawnee Lookout to see how greens are SUPPOSED to be?
You're better off going to Devou or Boone Links if you want to play a decent round.
Bridge/Prairie at North Branch Golf Course
Played On 10/07/2017Over an hour drive for this?
I booked this as a father-son outing. I wanted a course not too challenging but not boring. We were excited to get out and do some golfing. After a 70 minute drive, we got to the course. Not many people. Saw a 18 hole course and a 9 hole course. I go into the pro shop to check in. No one at the counter. I waited a good 10 minutes before someone in the restaurant told the guy that there's someone there. I told him that I had a booking through GolfNow for two. He started to grumble "Why did they allow that? They should've blocked it out. I'm sticking you on the Prairie course (the 9 hole and furthest course). I told him that I paid for 18 not 9. I guess he was not happy that I already paid online? Wanted BOTH of our names for the cart (?) never heard that one. Told him that my son is 15 and I'M the responsible one.
Had to rely on a mom who was with her kids @ the driving range how to get to Tee #1 box (thank you Mr. Pro Shop. Excellent customer service). We got to the first two holes which was flat and next to the driving range. So now you gotta look really good for your ball. Signs were hand painted and vague. Gave only one length. White tees?
Hole 6 and 7 poorly marked. & in fact goes on forever. We had to venture on the cart. to see the green Think of a great big C shape of a hole. Ran out of time after 9 holes. So ticked off. Won't be going back to this place.
BE GRATEFUL THAT YOU GET BUSINESS INSTEAD OF SEEING IT AS A NUISANCE. Won't be going back.

Played On 10/10/2016Disappointment Galore!
Last , I use play course weekly. The greens were pock marked, missing the grass, and hard Astroturf. Tee box, it's so hard to get tee . I had to pour water on the ground to get a start! So I started other courses.
Had a friend who was interested in learning golf. So I took her here. Wide fairways not too hard. Hole 3, I'm 170 yards out, so i used a 7 iron. Towering shot, It hit front of the green bounced 20 feet over the trees in back and landed on the cart path...on the other side of the next fairway!
Fairway is non existent. Cannot differentiate from the rough. Or there is no grass and you're hitting off hard dirt. Told my friend, on a REAL golf course, there's grass. On a REAL golf course there are greens that actually hold the ball. It was her FIRST time on a course and she says there HAS to be a better course.
The 8th tee box had absolutely no grass!!
Found out this course is owned by the same people who run Elks Run, and Northern Kentucky GC as well. If they were GM, Elk's Run would Cadillac, NKGC would Buick and Meadowood would be the broken down Chevy on blocks.
Head over to another course...
Vineyard Golf Course
Played On 04/17/2016one of the worst courses that i ever played
Last year I played this course. Lost 13 balls on the FAIRWAYS. Vineyard? More like a pasture. I thought I would try it again this year. Maybe things got better. Drove an hour to get here. I saw the tenth fairway before I pulled in and I should've known. Nothing changed. My backyard is cut shorter than this course. Dandelions all over the course. Some greens were pitted. Poor signage (I.e. 12th hole said it was a hard dogleg right, it's straight). Poor irrigation. Water is stagnant and mosquitoes galore! Course it's designed to punish you if go. Slightly off the fairway. I will NEVER play this course again.
Save your balls, save the time going to anger management classes. Play elsewhere. I recommend playing Belterra our Dearborn CC
Dearborn Country Club
Played On 10/10/2015worth the drive!
Excellent course that will challenge you, especially the front 9. Great scenery! People are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. My only complaints are the cart paths were terrible. Driving on them was a challenge. Almost lost it a couple of times. Had to sit in the middle of the cart so I wouldn't flip. Plus some better signage would be helpful. For example the 11th hole. I drove to where I thought the tee box was only to find out is way back next to the 10th green. Also the 16th and 17th holes tee box was were hard to find.
Vineyard Golf Course
Played On 08/16/2015Was not what I expected
I drove over an hour to reach this course. Got there and decided to play the back nine because it offered me a challenge. Hole 10 is a par 5 565 yard hole with the fairway grass height half way up the face of my iron. The green was nowhere in sight. Hilly like ocean waves at Myrtle Beach. Hole 11 was a par 3 that punishes you. Tee off between narrow stretch of trees. Fairway is a downward slope to pond. Hole 14 is an elevated tee, over a pond through a narrow cut through trees THEN there's a dog leg to the left. Hit through a valley then up to an elevated green that you can't see until you're on top of it. Other holes were not as long but were tough. There were times that I was playing a cow pasture than a vineyard. Talked to others at work about this course afterwards and they said "Yeah, played there ONCE." If you don't go back, that's saying something.
Meadowood Golf Club
Played On 08/15/2015Good for beginners
Easy course to learn golf on. Staff are VERY friendly. Greens are ATROCIOUS. Especially the 9th green! Tee boxes and fairways are like concrete. Need to tee up? I had to go and dump water to get my tee in the ground.
We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our Golf Course and found the greens to be phenomenal. We appreciate your understanding of the pace of play on Super Bowl Sunday. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!
