This is an absolutely immaculate executive course that can be played under the lights on the Vidanta - Nuevo Vallarta resort. The course is in excellent condition with water hazard and bunkers on every hole which is a rarity for an executive course. The greens are average size, and roll pure.

The price is a high, but is fair for a resort course in my opinion ($59), as it is more of a scenic feature of the overall resort so they want to keep it in great shape (keep non-golfers off that could damage it).

All in all, if you are a golfer and want to play a little golf under the lights on vacation, this is a great option IMO.

I unfortunately had to play this gorgeous track on one of the rainiest days in the last few years (per the clubhouse attendant), but I would play this course in any weather in a heartbeat. I was able to snag a HotDeal on GolfNow for $30 to play a Pete Dye track, which was like winning a jackpot. The staff was extremely friendly and the practice facilities were neatly organized for players. Range balls were free, however the only downside was the range was for irons only (don't let this deter you as hitting irons was still satisfactory to get fully warmed up). From the black tees, trouble was always within your landing zone, as to be expected from a Dye course. With all the rain, the course was still in amazing shape. Greens rolled fast and true, and the fairways and tees were perfectly manicured. If you happen to have a chance to play this course, I highly recommend!

Played the course for the first time while vacationing in the area, and managed to snag a Hot Deal rate on GolfNow for $30. Naturally with that rate, I was skeptical as far as course conditions go, but was I in for a treat! The course was lush, green and immaculate. The layout was nontraditional to begin the round with 5 Par 3's on the front side, but it was quite enjoyable. The entire course was very well manicured from tee to green and the greens rolled true and fairly fast. I would venture to guess, you would be hard pressed to find a course in nicer condition for the low rate possible through GolfNow.

It never ceases to amaze me at the overall condition of Bent Tree Golf Club. This has been a tough season weather-wise for the Columbus area, but The New Era courses (Bent Tree) continue to perform at a high level. The course is a great layout, spotted with fairway and green side bunkers protecting the true rolling greens.

Great track and an extremely fair rate!

Understanding that weather conditions haven't been the finest, with the course charging regular rates I expected the course to be in good shape. However, the greens were firm, burnt out/cracking, yet wooly (almost like putting on a fairway) at the same time. I can tolerate all other aspects of a course for the money, but virtually unplayable greens is unacceptable.
