We have played this course many time and were expecting all to be as usual. The tee boxes were great and the fairways impressive. As always the fairways were in very good shape. The layout is excellent with a very good layout that provides a lot of risk and reward opportunities. The course is beautiful and is a joy to play. However, the greens have been allowed to fall into disrepair. the were very short, hard and extremely fast with many bare patches. This was not due to aeration. Even at this, it is a very good course to play and every year when we are anywhere near we play. We were somewhat disappointed but will still play again because of all the other redeeming qualities. This is a great course to play and well worth a drive to be there.

Course is very interesting and an excellent layout. Would suggest having someone with you who has played the course before as there are several holes that can be played much better if you know the specific layout. Important to pick your distance and placement on several holes in order to set up approach. Just your driver off the tee is not the way to go. However, there are many opportunities to blast off the tee. Greens in good shape. Very interesting layout.
Lots of opportunity to use all your clubs. If you cannot keep it in the fairway and control your distance somewhat, your score will suffer. Very satisfying course to play.

An executive course that has some very interesting holes and layouts. A lot of water but very fair if you make correct decisions. Club choice is necessary to score well. Green in very good shape. Some holes longer than expected on an executive course and it made the round very enjoyable. Great course to get your short game into play. Will return and play several times while we are in the area.

Marshall was around a lot but did not accomplish anything. A very slow foursome was holding up half the course. Fairways were in poor shape. The layout is very good and lots of risk reward available. If you play lift and clean or preferred lies, you can have a good game. If you don't, the fairways will kill your score. Lots of water and the greens were good.

Good impressions started at arrival. Very good greeter. starter explained course layout and discussed some strategy. Water or conservation are along or across almost every hole but placed so that shots could be selected to match hole. No unfair hidden traps or other issues that could loose you a stroke. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Pin placement made for some study in order to correctly read green. Lovely views off almost every tee. Tee boxes are very well maintained. You can score well here if you pay attention and long shots may not prove to be the best solution. Enjoy

Good layout with lots of opportunities for risk/reward play. Many dog-legs and a few hidden pins. Fairways were not in good shape but the greens were developing new grass nicely. Good course to improve game as there is elevation and requirement to play strategically.

Greens were not completely finished growing back in but the fairways and tee boxes were excellent. Very open fairways with good approaches. Lots of area to get ready to play in the form of putting greens and driving range. All staff were as good as you could get, very helpful and very forthcoming regarding conditions and expectations. Would play here any time.

Always a pleasure to play this course. If you can place your tee shot the layouts will give you access to the greens. On number 9 hole there is a small slot between the trees that gives direct access to the approach. However, if you cannot manage to place your shot in the slot, stay well back and use a mid iron over the trees to the green. The greens are in very nice shape and most days there is no rush on the course. Very nice people running the course.

Efficient club drop off and cart pick up. Putting greens and driving range are immediate at hand. Beautiful fairways and excellent and challenging greens. Lots of variety from hole to hole with excellent risk-reward opportunities. This course can be attacked and with good shot placements can result in very good scores. New golfers can play this course and have lots of fun as the fairways are very reasonable. They may even score well within their handicap if they can stay on the fairways and out of the sand/bunkers. We always come away from this course happy.

Very nice greens, very good shape and fast. Great layout with lots of variety hole to hole. Excellent par three's and just enough water to keep you sharp. Big, wide fairways with interesting dog-legs on several holes. Very friendly staff and grounds keepers. Fastest carts I have ever driven. Very good pace of play.
