Originally thought this was a 9 hole par 3 course. It actually has 3 3s, 4 4s, and 2 5s, so if you want to play 18, you need to make a second lap. Pretty tight layout even by desert standards. Lots of uphill, downhill shots needed. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place if you’re looking for a nine hole round.

QP is under new ownership and has made upgrades. Course is in excellent shape tee to green. Staff is excellent. Front nine is pretty typical of a desert track. Not a lot of trouble. The back nine is quite another story. Picturesque views, forced carries across the quarry, any shot off line is a goner. Still, overall a good place to play.

CT is a former municipal course which is now privately owned, but still has the muni feel. Nice flat track where everything is laid out in front of you and a nice change from the mountain courses in the area. There are several sets of tees for all levels of play. Course was in excellent condition and the staff was superb. Good range, short game area.

I have placed this ‘muni’ in my rotation during visits to Tempe due to its value for the dollar. The staff does an excellent job with the over-seed and the fairways are like carpet. The greens are in great shape and the staff is super. Some of the bunkers could use a little more sand. You can pay a lot more elsewhere and get less course.

Basically your typical old neighborhood course with 380yd par 4s and 525 par 5s. Course was in decent shape for March. Stay in the fairways and things are great. Off the fairway not so much, but I’ve played tracks like this out here before. Greens were ok and had some rough spots. Staff was super friendly and doing the best with what they have to work with. I paid $45 on a GN Hot Deal and that would be the max I would pay for this place until the greens get better.

Don’t overlook PM based on the length. The par 5 opening hole will get your attention. You must be straight off the tee or it will be a long day. Greens were in great condition for January. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Usually a great value as well.

Played here several times during the last few years. Nice municipal course situated in an established neighborhood. Fairways and greens were in great condition and they did a great job with the over seed. Dormant rough was manageable. Pace of play was good and is a very walkable course. Nice practice range. Good value in the area this time of year.

First time at San Marcos. Course in great shape with the overseed. The greens are tiny with lots of bunkering so accuracy is key. Bunkers were some of the best maintained I’ve played. (Thankfully not often). Pace of play was good and the staff is super friendly. I’m always looking for a great value in the valley this time of year and San Marcos does the job.

I have played Springfield several times and it’s a good place to work on the game. You’ll potentially hit every club in the bag depending on how aggressive you want to be. Can be slow moving when one group holds up the show. Staff is great. Good practice range.

Typical flat track in the East valley. Not a lot of trouble to concern you. Condition was good and greens putted true. Nice putting/chipping area. Had to hit off mats to warm up.

Starting to figure this place out. Looong from just about every tee. Fairways excellent, greens were ok with what looked to be a recent verticut. Aguila is now in my rota when visiting the valley. Excellent practice facility.

Enjoyed a round with a couple of ‘members’. Course condition was excellent and the greens were the best I putted all week. Challenging but fair with several tees for all levels of player. Decent elevation changes for the desert. I was told you can play the course all year for about 6 grand. Are you kidding? Take my money.

Second time here. Course was in excellent condition and the greens rolled true. What else do you want? Excellent practice facility. Friendly staff.

Excellent place to get the rust off your game. Not your typical pitch and putt short course. Played early after a frost delay and scooted around quickly. Definitely recommend for the beginner or skilled player. A little pricey, but everything is more in January.

Nice track, but there are a few blind tee shots and. approaches to elevated greens. You’d really need to play this place a few times to understand where to place your shots. Beautiful views of the valley. Fantastic staff. I will come back if the price is right.

I enjoy playing here when the price is right. Fair layout with multiple tees. Sand in traps was a little too packed for me, but everything else was good.

I was able to get on Champs for less than a Benjie so it was a great value. Staff excellent, fairways excellent, greens smooth and fast. Lots of tees for all levels of players. You usually can’t go wrong at a TPC.

Played here in May and I have made it part of my rotation when visiting AZ. Course is fair although the par 3s and 5s are somewhat short, the par 4s make up the difference. If I lived in the area, this would be my home course.

Course in laid out in front of you. No blind shots or forced carries. Fairways and greens were in great condition. Staff extremely friendly. Highly recommend.
