Bloomingdale Golfers Club
Played On 03/19/2020Par 5 Challenges Very Nice
Very nice golf course, specifically the Par 5 Holes. Played them in -1 Today. The greens are in 8 out of 10 shape, I would prefer them a little faster but they were fair. #4 510 Yard Par 5 is a double dogleg hole, hit a great drive to the center of the fairway over the first set of trees, had 221 to the center of the green, which is within my reach (3 Hybrid) however a blind shot over that second set of trees, so I choose to lay up to 78 yards, wedge in with a birdie putt, slid by on the high side made the comeback putt for par. This course is a keeper, not sure why I have not play it before now. They are doing a great job at this course, very nice practice facility as well. Keep Up the good work. Exponentially better than the last course I reviewed in Riverview, Florida. Bloomingdale will get more of my Golf Dollars. Oh did I mention they will let you walk, huge plus :). Make it a great day!

First of all my Son and I were greeted by a rough and gruff cart guy. Pro Shop guys somewhat friendly, kinda set the tone for the day. We were paired with two very nice guys who were familiar with course, a plus it was our first visit. The course layout is great I love that part. Tee boxes great shape, fairways were good, greens were extra fast I love fast greens, but their were a couple of greens that were a little challenging dead spots, crab grass etc. I look forward to visiting again hopefully to a more friendly staff. That's really my only gripe but that's huge to me. At the end of the day you have to deal with them for 5 minutes and then you are off.

This course commonly known as "The Moc" was a very nice treat. I am actually glad I waited to write this review, you see why as you continue to read. So I booked a tee time on their web site for 2:00 PM I arrived at the course at 1:00 went in and paid and was going to warm up. The young man at the desk was very kind, I ask can I go or do I need to wait, he says a twosome just went off and there is not another Tee Time for about 30 mins there is no need for you to wait. So I go off and proceeded to make my first 3 putt and double bogey of the year, lol. It gets better, caught the twosome at #4 and they allowed me to play ahead. The greens on the course were in fantastic condition, some minor issues but nothing that time will not fix. So I finish my round and came in to get something to drink did have time to eat, although the food I saw folks eating looked yummy. Very nice test of golf a great course to get in some great work, very nice layout. So fast forward to Tuesday afternoon 13 FEB, I am on my way in from work and had not eaten lunch, I have to go right by the Moc to get home so I decided to stop and grab a bite to eat. The young lady behind the counter took good care of me, folks in the place were very friendly. Then this guy shows up and is behind the bar, starts up a conversation asked me if I played I told him not today just stopped in to grab some food, He said alright that''s cool I told him I had played on Saturday and enjoyed it very much we talked about the course and somehow got on the new ball from Titleist (AVX), long story short he goes to his office and gives me one to try out, I was thinking this guy must be the pro he was very friendly and nice to talk to, come to find out his name is Noah and he is the owner of the course. What a treat, you can tell he loves his club and his patrons. I will be back, simply because Noah has created an environment that you don't find in most golf clubs. Oh by the way, the Club Sandwich on a scale of 1-10 it was a 12 or 13. I will be back oh yeah score 83 not bad for the first round of the year, like riding a bike.

Played On 03/25/2017Pretty Amazing
Played the course with a good friend, we also picked up a third and his wife (spectator/caddie/pin tender/bunker raker), she was awesome. Upon arrival the staff was very timely and attentive. We had an 11:08 tee time so I arrived at about 9:30 or so to warm up and grab a bite to eat. Well not so fast, the restaurant was not open so there was no breakfast available except perhaps something from the cart girl who I did not see until about #7. So I started feeling a little famished, (if you have an early tee time get breakfast on the way). Range balls were not included in the $85.00 price which I found a little odd I guess. Typically when I pay that much to play golf pre-round range balls are included(not the case here). Nor do they provide for any type of Military Discount while I do not always expect it I always ask. The golf course was absolutely amazing tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great condition. We noticed that they had removed the Black Tee Markers from play probably not a bad thing for first time visitors. No issues with pace of play. I have played golf in lots of places, this does not feel like a Florida course lots of elevation changes and just a beautiful course. Sand in the bunkers seemed to be very heavy and thick. I was able to card a 92 while my good friend scored 90, it was a great challenge and we will go again. If you live in the state of Florida this one is worth a visit, you will not be disappointed. Well except for that breakfast thing....I'm Just Saying......Cheers,
