Zellwood Station & Country Club
Played On 02/05/2019Nice Day
If you are a straight hitter, you'll enjoy Zellwood Station because the fairways are tight with a number of blind tee shots. The majority of the back nine are around the edge of what they call "the Crater" which is defined as a hazard. The holes on this loop are all basically dog leg left and short with a lot of risk-reward type shots if you know your distances and direction, both are critical. The day we played was PERFECT weather-wise because any wind would really make this course difficult regardless of which tees you decide to play.
Baytree Golf Course
Played On 02/08/2017Quick 18
If you're looking for a long course, this is not for you. If you want to challenge or hone your short game, you might like Baytree. Greens are small with plenty of contour. Unfortunately the greens are very long and slow. The tee boxes were also small, uneven, and un-cut for me. The day we played it had rained hard the night before and hence there was still a LOT of casual water in various playing areas around the course and especially the 13th fairway. Could be a good challenging little course with some regular maintenance but I will not play here if I have to pay the full 'in season' rate. In my opinion it is overpriced for the conditions the course is in regardless of 'in or out of season.'
Hi, thank you so much for the three stars! We appreciate your feedback and are glad that you had an enjoyable round of golf with us the other day. We'll see you again soon.
