An amazing amount of damage has been done to the course by some kind of misguided aeration. 1 foot apart gashes , not holes, straight gashes throughout fairways and rough, but also around greens. Never seen anything like it. 3/4" wide open ruts...try playing off it. This course is a favorite...think I'll let things heal for a bit.

Much improved since WP took it over. Like how the Pro shop 'calls' the tee box on outdoor PA.

worth the hour drive, never disappoints...just signs of crabgrass creeping into a few greens, which were slightly slower but in great shape.

Gotta be careful with every shot, or it's a long day for you. Pretty good shape overall, 1st time back in a couple months. A few greens are showing crabgrass issues, many greens were in fine shape. Fixed many ball marks leftover on greens, a problem at this course. Play it, don't spray it!

Getting a little better constantly. Greens are a far cry from what they were before WP bought it...still bumpy , however. Might take a little while with that. Geo fencing and GPS on carts .

1st time back in a couple of years, did not disappoint! Starter did a great job of organizing a very busy situation, really appreciated by this single. love the elevation changes, greens were fine.

Many agree the course is lesser than its been in several years. 1 4 hour shift of filling divots, 1 4 hour shift of picking up tees...broken tees LITTER every tee box. That would be welcomed.
I am not an expert by far! But from a user's standpoint, I thought the aeration technique was cool and far less invasive than what I've seen in the past.
Can't disagree with you more. We did an aggressive procedure called Curfew that all high end course do. Its a very expensive procedure that sets your course up for success within 2-3 weeks. You should always ask before posting. We are here to answer any questions you may have.
